Chuuya pov:

"Chuuya, what do you think? It has been my daily life since I was 13." My jaw drops. 13?! HE WAS FUCKING THIRTEEN WHEN MORI DID THOSE THINGS!!

Continuing:

"...Dazai! That is not fine at all!...you should've told me!"

"..and then what?..get beaten up by him because I told you?...."

My eyes widen. Mori was a sick and twisted monster!
How could he do that??!! Especially to a boy who is  only 15 as of now. I do not know what came over me...I just hugged him...tightly...keeping him close. Trying to make him feel safe with me. Trying to make him feel that I am not like him. I will protect him. I will help him.

Dazai pov:

As chuuya hugged me, I felt strange but somehow safe. This was...this was different. Whenever mori hugged me, he tried to make it hurt. I didn't feel safe or any nice sensation with him hugging me. But chuuya... he made me feel safe, warm and...and I let down my guard...knowing that Chuuya was here...I relaxed into his hug...and slowly returned the gesture.

"Dazai I promise you will be safe with me. We will do this together. We will go through this together. I promise."

Those words that left Chuuya's mouth....They made me feel safe. I was almost about to drop tears when chuuya quickly wiped them off.

"We are in this together...so I won't let go this time. I am so sorry for not noticing earlier dazai..."

I nod and speak " it's fine Chuuya...you didn't know..."

Chuuya gently smiled as he ruffles my hair. His touch warm and gentle. I couldn't help but lean into his comforting touch. It even brought a small genuine smile to my face.

"...thank you chuuya...I really needed that..."

"...anytime idiot..."

"Chuuya..?...what if he finds out..?.."

"...then I will be with you...I will be with you the second he tried to hurt you...you won't get hurt because of him. Not in my watch. I promise you that..."

"...geez..Chuuya...protective much..?.."

Chuuya blushed a little.

"...p-protective.?....a-about what..?..I-I am J-just worried...n-nothing e-else.."

"...aww...chibi is blushing and is soooo red..."

"...s-sh-shut u-up!.."

"I wonder if Chibiko likes me~?"

"...W-who would l-like y-you...B-bastard..."

I grin and get extremely close to his face.

"...maybe Chuuya would..."

Chuuya blushed again...

"...don't play with m-my feeling idiot..."

"...chuuya I'm not playing....i like you...do you...?..."

Chuuya is blushing again.

"..too causal! Anyone wouldn't even think that you said "I like you" in those sentences!"

"...well then..."

3rd person pov:

Dazai's eyes get serious but still with emotion.

"...I like you chuuya...date me.."

Chuuya is blushing once again.

"...I...I like you too..I-idiot d-dazai..."

Dazai smiled gently and pulls Chuuya into a hug...kissing his forehead.

Their happiness was ever so mesmerising...that would be...until the next day....

Well...I know I should be really sorry and really sorry because...well....i didn't post a new chapter for weeks...well cuz of exams and exam re-takes...so...uhh...well...I hope you enjoyed this short ass story I wrote. I promise I'll do more than 600-700 words next time. This time a total of 578 words were used.Well see you next time!
