Yumeno Himiko takes out Ouma's phone to call his relatives, and luckily his phone doesn't have a password. The phone's main screen is Ouma and Saihara; Himiko sighs because they're really a cute couple. Looking in the contacts list, Himiko can't find his parent's phone numbers. Instead, there were only ten numbers; nine noted in DICE, and the one left belonging to Saihara. Himiko purses her lips, not knowing whether to tell Saihara or DICE because Ouma told her not to. But he needs someone to carry home, so maybe DICE is the best choice.
"Hey, let's get your friend to the police station to clean up the wounds."
A policeman helps her hold up Ouma. He proceeds to carry Ouma on his back and walks steadily so as not to hurt him further.
"It's those guys again." Another man speaks up.
"Yeah, they have been causing a lot of trouble lately. Why isn't the chief doing anything?"
"I don't know either."
Yumeno listens to them, holding Ouma's phone to her ear. The phone rings, and the person on the other side picks up. Himiko quickly reports the location of the police station to them. Himiko hears a sound of deep breathing; she guesses they have many questions to ask, they tell her they will be there soon.
"Girl, can you tell us what happened?" A kind policeman that helped her carry Ouma asks. He puts him on the sofa in the station.
"Yes, I can."
Himiko nods and begins to tell the police everything. When she finishes telling everything, she looks at them with a worried expression.
"We will find a way to deal with it; you don't need to file a lawsuit; this is best for you."
The policeman sadly advised Himiko, she doesn't understand why he advised her like that, but if Ouma doesn't take any action, she won't act on her own.
"I see you are from Hope’s Peak Academy; maybe your principal can help." The policeman sitting next to her says, smiling to comfort her.
Himiko nods, tells them she will consider it after Ouma regains consciousness. She then sits and waits in the station, letting the two policemen return to their jobs. Minutes pass, a guy with short brown hair walks in and claims that he came to pick up Ouma Kokichi. Himiko then waves her hand to get his attention and leaves Ouma to the other person.
His name is Ayato; he looks kind of like a playboy with his skinny black jeans and a cool jacket; he's handsome, Himiko gives him that. Ayato gently carries Ouma to his car, lying him down in the back seat. Himiko sits in the front, looking at Ayato taking care of Ouma through the mirror. After making sure Ouma won't fall off the seat, he starts driving. Ayato asks Himiko questions while going, and she does not object and tells him the story. The short-haired guy thanks Himiko, driving her straight to the house because it's not safe for her to walk on the street alone after everything that had just happened.
Himiko doesn't know if Ayato will do something with those gangsters; his face doesn't show clear emotions, just as she can't see through Ouma Kokichi. Himiko thanks him for driving her home. Her eyes set on the black car getting farther and farther away. She sighs wearily but then stops when she suddenly remembers that she has never told him her address. How could he know!? Ouma is still in the car. Is he a kidnapper or something!?
Himiko panics for a bit, then quickly remembers that he is in Ouma's contacts so that Ayato won't harm him. Speaking of contacts, Himiko wonders why Ouma's contacts were so few? It has like thirteen people, where DICE is already 9 out of 13.
Moreover, she didn't see his parent's number, but she's pretty sure they're not dead. Now that mentioned, if his parents aren't deceased, then why is he at the orphanage with Maki? That led Himiko to ask Ayato if he was Ouma's brother and received no answer. She then wondered if Ouma had any other siblings, and Ayato shook his head with a sad sigh.
Do Ouma's relatives not care for him?
Himiko's heart swiftly feels heavy at the thought of Ouma having no love from his parents. She shakes her head, enters the house and cleans up for bed. Why is she worried about Ouma Kokichi? He's such a cruel Omega boy!
…
But he's their class president and the one who protected her.Himiko ruffles her hair and decides to sleep; all these things are too confusing. She needs to recharge her mana for tomorrow. She chose to let future Himiko deal with it tomorrow; sleeping is the most important thing right now.
Lying on the familiar bed for a while, Himiko closes her eyes and falls asleep into nothingness.
