The air in the room was stifling, heavy with a tension that Jungkook could no longer ignore. Ever since Taehyung had entered his life as his personal bodyguard, the lines between safety and danger had become blurred. The perverted messages had continued—more explicit, more unsettling—and yet, there was a part of Jungkook that found himself oddly drawn to the dark intensity that Taehyung exuded. It was as if every glance, every word, carried a weight that lingered far longer than it should.
Jungkook sat in the living room, trying to focus on the script for his upcoming project. Acting had always been his escape, his sanctuary. But now, even this felt tainted by the lurking fear that the stalker was always watching. His phone buzzed on the table, and his heart skipped a beat. He hesitated, already knowing what awaited him.
He picked up the phone and unlocked it, bracing himself for another disturbing message. But this one was different.
*“I see you sitting there, beautiful. You look so stressed, so tense. I could help with that… You wouldn’t have to do anything. Just let me touch you. Let me take care of you in the way no one else can. You’d love it.”*
Jungkook’s breath hitched, his body tensing at the implications. It was too much. The stalker was becoming more aggressive, more invasive. His mind raced, and the creeping dread in his stomach threatened to overwhelm him.
Just as he was about to toss the phone aside, Taehyung walked in. His presence was commanding, as always, but tonight there was something more in his gaze. His eyes seemed darker, his expression unreadable as he took a seat across from Jungkook, watching him with that unnerving intensity.
"You’re still getting messages," Taehyung stated, his voice low, almost a growl.
Jungkook nodded, swallowing hard. "Yeah… this one’s—" He hesitated, unsure if he wanted to share just how explicit the message had been.
"Let me see." Taehyung’s voice left no room for argument. He leaned forward, holding out his hand expectantly.
Reluctantly, Jungkook handed over the phone. Taehyung’s eyes flicked over the message, his expression darkening as he read. For a moment, the silence between them felt like it could snap, the tension palpable.
"Fucking bastard," Taehyung muttered under his breath, his grip on the phone tightening. He looked up at Jungkook, his gaze softer now, almost protective. "You don’t deserve this, Jungkook. I’ll make sure no one touches you."
The sincerity in Taehyung’s voice sent a shiver down Jungkook’s spine, but there was also something possessive in the way Taehyung spoke, as if the threat extended to anyone who might even think of being close to him. Jungkook wasn’t sure if that made him feel safer or more vulnerable.
"Thanks, Taehyung," Jungkook murmured, offering a weak smile. He wanted to trust Taehyung. He needed to believe that this man, this protector, could keep him safe. But the intensity of Taehyung’s gaze—always watching, always there—was beginning to feel suffocating in its own way.

*Later That Night*
Jungkook had taken to pacing in his bedroom, the anxiety from the messages keeping him on edge. Every noise outside his window made him jump, every shadow in the corner of the room seemed threatening. He wasn’t sure how much longer he could take this.
A knock on the door startled him, and before he could answer, Taehyung stepped into the room. He closed the door behind him, his eyes scanning the space as if checking for any signs of danger.
"You can’t sleep, can you?" Taehyung’s voice was a quiet rumble, his presence overwhelming in the small room.
Jungkook shook his head, biting his lip. "No… it’s just too much. The messages… they’re getting worse."
Taehyung walked over to him, standing so close that Jungkook could feel the heat radiating from his body. He looked down at him, eyes softening in a way that made Jungkook’s heart skip a beat.
"I told you," Taehyung murmured, his voice deep and soothing. "I’m here. Nothing’s going to happen to you while I’m around."
There was something about the way Taehyung spoke that made Jungkook want to believe him. His bodyguard had always been an enigma—cold and distant at times, but fiercely protective when it came to his safety.
Taehyung reached out, his fingers brushing lightly against Jungkook’s arm. The touch was unexpected, gentle, and yet it sent a jolt of something unfamiliar through Jungkook’s body. He looked up, meeting Taehyung’s intense gaze, and for a moment, everything else faded away—the messages, the fear, the anxiety.
"I can help you relax," Taehyung whispered, his voice dipping lower. "You’re so tense, Jungkook. Let me take care of you."
Jungkook’s heart raced, and he felt his breath hitch at the implication. Taehyung’s fingers were still on his arm, lingering, tracing light patterns on his skin that made his mind spin with conflicting emotions.
"I—" Jungkook stammered, not knowing how to respond.
But before he could say anything, Taehyung stepped back, his expression unreadable once more. The moment was gone as quickly as it had come, leaving Jungkook feeling dazed and confused.
"Get some rest," Taehyung said, his tone shifting back to its usual guarded demeanor. "I’ll be right outside if you need me."
Jungkook watched as Taehyung left the room, closing the door softly behind him. His heart was still racing, his thoughts swirling with the weight of everything that had happened. He couldn’t deny the strange pull he felt toward Taehyung—his protector, his bodyguard, the one person who made him feel both safe and unnerved all at once.
But as he lay down in bed, staring at the ceiling, the messages flashed through his mind again.
*“You’re going to love what I do to you, Jungkook. Soon, you won’t be able to think of anyone else but me. You’ll be mine.”*
And despite Taehyung’s comforting words, the fear was still there, gnawing at the edges of his sanity.
Because somewhere, deep down, Jungkook knew that the person who was supposed to protect him might be the one he needed to fear the most.
