A man in his 20's handed her the money from his pocket."I'd better get going now." She calmly spoke like it was a normal scene. Areum took off her eye mask, wore her big coat that would cover up until her upper thighs and exited the club with nothing but an emotionless expression.
Well, It's another boring day after all.
Random guys,
Seduction ,
Money. That's what she do for a living.
As the sound of her heels clacked, resonating a loud vibrance from the silent hum of the midnight scene, she heard breathing from a boy sitting by the bench alone.
"What are you doing here in the middle of the night?" Areum asked the lad curiously while she eyed his school uniform and sat at the end of the bench. The first thing she wants to do is to rest, of course.
He stared at her direction and observed her from top to bottom.
She should be hiding by now. But then again, as if he'd notice her in school.
"I should be asking you that. Nevertheless, It's pretty rare to see a girl with less clothes and a face caked with make-up walking alone in the streets." He responded.
"Shut up, I got reasons."
She watched the moon glistening from afar, remeniscing thoughts as she did so.It has always been the same. People observing your appearance and when you didn't meet their standards, they will judge you without looking upon deeply to your background.
She thought to herself.
"If you're thinking that i might be judging you, then you are wrong.
But, Is prostitution always the answer?" The boy uttered like he's been reading her thoughts."How did you know that i've been thinking that you are judging me?" She asked, Half quenching her curiousity and Half avoiding his question.
A strong wind blew across their direction as she devoured the once-in-a-blue-moon cue of peacefulness.
If only it could be like this everyday.
Then maybe, I can atleast be happy,
But the world is too cruel.
"I can read eyes."
He whispered and looked deeply unto her."Your eyes are craving for freedom, ecstacy and Just." The boy added.
As curious as ever, she asked. "How did you know about these things? Is this an act of psychologism?"
"Maybe? We'd never know. I think it's all about the gaze an individual does."
He stood up from the bench and faced the other direction, inducing a sign to leave.
"Wait!" She called out.
"Hm?"
"May I have your name?"
He faced his head towards her and flashed a smirked.
"Its Jimin, Park Jimin."
