All rights go to ABC Family. That's all I got to say.
--- Cameron's Apartment ---
That morning, Cameron had woken up before sunlight, kissed Kirsten good-bye, and silently left. He had been too tired to notice that Camille's car was parked in the driveway, and much too tired to notice that Camille wasn't asleep, and was in fact, playing a crossword in her room.
When he got home, the weariness caught up with him. He immediately tried to get the rest of the sleep he needed. Unfortunately, he never did. Right as he was getting comfortable, Cameron's phone went off with a text from Camille.
Cameron, next time you try to hide a secret from Linus and me, it probably wouldn't be wise to sleepover at my house with that secret.
The text was followed by a picture of Kirsten and him asleep with his arms wrapped around Kirsten.
So he typed the only word in his head.
Shit.
Camille responded quickly.
Oh, don't worry little lab rat. We won't tell anyone.
Cameron's eyes widened.
We?
Oh yes, we. We = Myself and Linus.
I'm coming over.
No!
Cameron stopped.
What?
It's just that, um, Linus is coming over. . .
Why?
No reason. . . Just go back to sleep!
You know what, fine, but I'm coming over later.
Okie dokie lab rat.
Cameron sighed. This was so not his day.
--- Kirsten's House ---
Kirsten woke up late that morning, much too late for her morning run. She decided that she would just make herself some coffee and start doing things to get herself up and awake.
None of this went to plan.
Apparently, Kirsten's coffee maker was broken, meaning she couldn't make anything to get her up well. She was going to go for a walk at least, but that plan was destroyed when she heard a knock at the door.
She opened it up to Linus, who she immediately directed to Camille's room.
"I assume you know which room it is."
"You might be surprised, but I'm here for you."
"Surprised indeed. What is it Linus?"
Grabbing his phone from his pocket, Linus started going through his photos until he handed it to Kirsten.
"That would be why I'm here."
Kirsten saw the picture and deleted it immediately. She looked up with a face that matched that of an angry bear.
"Oh damn."
Linus ran out the open door, but Kirsten stayed in the doorway. That picture could've only been taken by Camille, meaning that Camille and Linus now knew of the relationship that she and Cameron had tried to keep a secret.
"Camille!" Kirsten wasn't the kindest person in the world, but she wasn't one said to have anger issues. But, if you take a picture of someone sleeping next to their secret boyfriend, and then send it to your boyfriend, anyone would get mad.
