Chapter 6

When I get home and after I eat and take shower. I lock myself in my room I have a lot of homework, my teachers gave me a month of school work for me to do in the weekend and my sister is gonna give it to them on Monday. But I don't have the nearest interest in doing it so I don't.

I turn on my laptop and search for the book I was looking for the other days 'Visions' it's the name of the book. The description says that it is about a boy who can see things that no one else can so he decides to investigate what they are and when he founds out the truth it will change his life forever. I'm browsing through a page and I found that you can pre-order this book so it will get to you before or the same day of the release so I pre-order it cause I just can't wait.

The rest of the weekend I spend it doing my homework and preparing my luggage for the hospital.

On Sunday night while I was preparing to go to the movies with my friends like we planned I received a text message from Andrew.

Andrew: I'm sorry Linds but I'm not going tonight.

Me: what!! why?

Andrew: I just can't do it, I can't go through this day and pretend that everything is fine when I know it might be the last day we spend together before everything gets bad, or the last day we spend together for that matter.. I'm sorry

Me: WTF! How can you possibly say that? Why are you acting this way!! You are supposed to cheer me up! What right do you have in bringing me down, if anything the one that will have to go trough chemo once again it will be me not you.

Andrew: It's not about cheering you up or bringing you down linds! I just don't want to have a memory, if something does happen to you and let's hopes it doesn't I don't want to go back to today and say 'this is when we last hanged out oh fun day it was'. If something does happen to you then the movies will be ruined for me. I don't even care about the movies I just don't want to remember you as places or things but just as you.

Me: are you listening to yourself? You are being so selfish, and childish. Fine if you don't want to go then don't go, but don't even bother showing up at the hospital either cause you know I might ruin them for you to. Just bye Andrew!

Andrew: I'm sorry

And that's it that's how the conversation ended I kept looking at my phone every five minutes or so to see if he had changed his mind. To see if he realized that he was being selfish and unreasonable and to see if he had apologized and decided on going after all, but he didn't. Even in the theater while I was waiting for Dan and Marge to arrive I kept hoping to see his honda sivic park in the parking lot. But he never arrived.

When Dan and Marge arrived I explained everything to them, I saw Daniel clutch his fists at his sides but he didn't said anything.Marge seem sad and hugged me. We entered the theater and they let me sit in the middle so I wouldn't feel like a third wheel. It wasn't bad we had fun I wasn't gonna let Andrew ruin this day if anything he had missed it.
