Chapter 7: Caught

Jack POV:

Over the next few days I watch Kevin from a distance but nothing put of the ordinary. He helps the people in the Kingdom and goes to his friends shop "Radford's crafts" to buy more supplies, Yet every time i report to father that's nothing is wrong he gets upset. 

I have a feeling that Kevin knows im spying on him...

Kevin POV: 

Jack has been spying on me. 

I know this because he is terrible at spying. So i know that father know or at least he suspects that i have a boyfriend or go into the dark forest, So ive been avoiding Streber with a good reason of course, we still text but we dont call or facetime just to be safe. 

a few weeks go by and i notice jack's spying has stopped, i text Streber.

Kevin: i think my dad told my brother to stop spying but i still dont have a good feeling. 

Streber: me neither, its up to you if you want to start seeing each other again tbh :p

Kevin: I want to, but i think its to risky. D: 

Streber: give me 10 mins. 

I wait 10 minutes then check my phone, still no text from Streber, then i hear something knocking at my window. I open it and see a bat fly in the turn into human, its Streber 

"hey"

Jack POV: 

I heard a knocking sound come from Kevin's room and i walk toward his room and put my ear against the door. i try to hear what Kevin's saying and then i hear someone else's voice. I open the door like ripping of a band aid. And i see Kevin kissing a guy. and the worst part is that the guy. IS A VAMPIRE. they stop kissing and push each other away from the other and look at me. Im shocked.  

"K-Kevin, why were you kissing  a VAMPIRE?!?!" I yell. "Jack please dont tell dad, i-its not what it looks like i swear.." but its to late i hear a gun go off and the vampire falls down. Kevin runs to the vampire and shakes him "STREBER! WAKE UP WHAT HAPPENED?" Streber. That's the vampire my brother is in love with. I dont want to tell father but its to late to do that. the gunshot was from him. i look behind me and see a shotgun in my father's hand. 

"Kevin" I hear the vampire say i turn around and slowly walk toward it. i see the vampire clutch its stomach in pain then the vampire removes it hand from his stomach and i see blood. theres so much going on at the same time i cant comprehend it im still in shock.  I see Kevin crying and telling the vampire "Streber its going to be ok.. i promise" 

 I see other guards come in and pick up the vampire and throw it into a cage. Kevin tries to stop them but 2 guards hold him back so Kevin is there crying and yelling to let the vampire go. 

Father puts his hand on my shoulder and tells me "Im proud of you Jack" 

words ive been waiting to hear my whole life. but this time i dont feel like this should be something to be proud off. i feel bad but theres nothing i can do. i look over at Kevin and tears start to form in my eyes "im so sorry"
