>May<

"Good morning, Leo!" May called, peeking into Leo's bedroom, which she thought looked much messier than usual.

"AHH, huh? Oh, hey May," Leo said groggily, still half-asleep.

"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to wake you... but Mikey made pancakes, and I thought you might want some before Raph eats them all," she said quietly.

Leo sat up, rubbing his eyes. "Pancakes? Um, well, thank you for telling me, but I'm not very hungry."

May fidgeted with her fingers, a nervous habit she had done since forever. "Well, uh, I'll make sure Mikey saves a few in case you change your mind."

Leo facepalmed himself as soon as May left, really hoping he didn't hurt her feelings. "I gotta get over this stupid self-worth thing," Leo muttered to himself. He glanced around his room, taking in the clutter. "Aggghhhh, I just don't get it. How do they always believe in themselves?" he grumbled. "Maybe it's just me. Donnie always seems so 'confident' about himself."

Leo really needed to get out of his room- or at least clean it if he was going to stay in there pitying himself. "Uggghhh, might as well see if there's any pancakes left, I guess." He hopped out of bed and walked down the hall to the entryway of the kitchen.

Leo peeked around the corner, surprised to see everyone still in there. He very much so thought about darting back to his room to avoid the bombardment of questions that would surely follow, but then all four heads turned towards him. He knew that they wouldn't let him leave without him ending up being chased down and cornered like an alley cat. So he toughened up, straightened his shoulders, and marched in there like nothing was wrong.

"Hey, guys! Did ya save any for me?! Haha or did Raphala eat them all?" He gave them a big goofy grin.

"There are plenty left, Leo! Don't worry!" Mikey answered with one of those big smiles on his face.

'How is he so happy all the time?' Leo thought as Mikey sat down a plate on the table for him. 'Mikey sure can whip up some good pancakes,' he thought. As he started his second pancake, he said "Wow, Mikey, this might be your best batch ever!" Mikey beamed. Leo thought he was going to get away without having to say anything about why he's been in his room the past three weeks. But of course it couldn't be that easy.

As soon as he went to put his plate in the sink, Donnie slammed his hand down on the table and said, "Leo, we need to talk."
