TW: Slight gore
With a loud crash, I landed on a wheat field face first (rather ungracefully, must I add), arms in the air. When I came to my senses, a booming voice echoed through the air. I instinctively covered my ears and winced at the volume of the voice.
"Bzzzzz- Mic test! One! Two! Three! Hello everyone! 'Regular' members who have entered the Tower! This is the 2nd floor, and I sincerely welcome you to- The Evankhell's Floor!!" Ugh, so rambunctious. I need to catch up on sleep and take a bath, my clothes are stained... Hopefully I'll get a chance to clean myself and take a break later-
"This Evankhell's Floor is also called the 'Floor of Test'! The reason is because this is the level where you are deemed worthy of climbing this tower!" I suppose washing up can wait, these tests seem quite strength-based... Would I have to kill again?
The boisterous voice of the announcer interrupted my thoughts once again.
"Then- minor details aside, shall we begin with a simple test first? You might as well as get a good warm up exercise!" My ears are throbbing, I should save up for some good-quality noise cancelling headphones...
"The first test is very simple! I will begin announcing the rules, so listen carefully! The following are the rules for the first test! The number of Regulars in this floor totals to 400! All you have to do is make that 400 go down to 200! Method? By any means! The moment the number of Regulars go down to 200, this test will end! Then~ Everyone, try your best! "
Fuck's sake, I'm too exhausted to deal with this right now... I'll just find a place to hide and wait until they finish killing each other.
*A few minutes later*
I sat behind a large boulder, opened my pocket and found the flasks of hot water I stored inside, along with some necessities and some tea leaves. Then, I put 3 teaspoons of the tea leaves in a flask, closed the lid, set a timer (on silent mode obviously), took out a resealable bag which contained some cookies and started to nibble on them. When the timer was up, I excitedly reached for my flask- Yet, it was nowhere to be found...
"Looking for this?" The flask swayed above me. I glanced upwards, noticing a boy with light blue hair and cerulean eyes.
"Yes." I reluctantly answered. Does this guy want to pick a fight or something? I'm not in the best of moods right now...
"What were you thinking, hiding here? Judging from your expression, you didn't expect me coming." Honey, I think I can defend myself just fine... I'm so sleepy.
"I didn't sense any malicious intent from you, so I assumed you didn't mean harm. Do you need anything from me?" I retaliated.
He raised his hands in mock surrender. "I'm not looking for trouble, just looking for people who'll be willing to join my team. I need people who don't just follow the orders and blindly kill others just because the test says so. There's still space left. My name's Khun Aguero Agnis, by the way. You can call me Khun." Leave me alone for now, please...
I smiled nicely at him. "Count me out. I don't get around people unless they're trustworthy, let alone people of the Khun family. If you have any other enquiries, Ask me and I'll answer them after the first test ends... Would you please kindly return me my possession?"
"Alright, then... Just know that my offer still stands if you ever change your mind." He handed me my flask of now lukewarm tea, flipped himself over the boulder and walked away. I stared at him in obvious displeasure (seriously, who likes their tea warm? belgh.) and returned to my peaceful stance.
A few minutes later, the first test ended with another announcement from the speaker.
