LOUIS' POV
Louis cooked while talking to Harry, stopping every chance to kiss him while he still could. Once the food was ready, Louis plated it for them while Harry set the table, complete with a bottle of red wine. Not Louis' first choice but it felt familiar. Like an old routine even if they've barely known each other a week.

Louis brought the plates to the table and sat next to Harry. The two enjoyed their dinner, along with some small talk and the occasional kiss. When they were finished, Louis helped Harry bring the now-empty dishes back to the kitchen. They loaded the dishwasher and stared at each other. Neither of them wanted to break the comfortable silence, deep down scared that if they did, the end would come quicker.
Louis makes the first move, stepping closer to Harry. They start kissing again. Slowly. Passionately. Memorising every inch of each other's body. Louis finds himself back on the countertop, kissing up and down Harry's neck. Harry's moans fill the room. He takes Louis' hands in his and takes a small step back, barely breaking their contact. 'Do you, um, do you wanna go up to my room?'

'Lead the way, darling.' Louis steps off the counters and follows Harry upstairs. It feels like they have all the time in the world. Tonight is just theirs. They're gonna take their time.
