My name is Vanessa scrubs I am a normal 16 year old kook. My parents are Lana and scooter scrubs. I basically grew up on the kook side. My parents always told me to never believe a word of  what the Pogues say. All I do is drink, party , sneak out, sex, party, sneak out , sex. It's like a loop I do it every night. Until 1 summer changed my mind and everything went differently.

I wake up to find myself on someone's couch all hung over and shit. I groan as I sit up.
I put my hands on my head as I sit up to see a house trashed in alcohol and drugs. I quickly get up to find my purse as I see someones oxy sitting there not open I grab my shoes and my purse as I put my fingers through my hair as I grabb the oxy and run.
As I walk i hear a voice behind me
"Hey bitch, that's my fucking oxy!" Then I run as fast as I can with no she's on and a red dress that goes all the way down to my ankles (should've put on different dress).
"Shit" I mumble as the girl chases after me as I punch her in the face and spit on her as I look around to see a car parking in the front yard so I just bail.
I climb over the fences and run through the river banks as I jump over the fence to my house.
I hear how my parents are awake so I  walk around the back of the house ducking down on the side so they don't see me. As I walk through the back door I get a message from my boyfriend Rafe.
*Ding*
*Ding *

I mumbled "shit" as I quickly walked up the stairs to my room to see mr Cameron in our kitchen talking about some "plan" for the outer banks.
I just ignore and walk up to my room and shut the door behind me. I put on some comfy clothes as I put pink highlights in my hair as my mom opens the door fast. "Vanessa?" Said my mom.
"Mornin mom!" I said as I look at the mirror fixing the pink highlights.
"Rafe is  here downstairs!" Said my mom
I turn around as fast as she says Rafe.
Let's just say Rafe isn't your perfect boyfriend who gives you flowers everyday and goes on dates.
At first he was really sweet, we met because my dad works for his dad and he used to take me to a date every Friday and Sunday which is cute but it was so weird. But after his dad started working more he started to do drugs and sell them and all the other things as well. Rafes sister Sarah and I are best friends we met in freshman year of highschool we also have every class together which is cute.

"Anyways I will just leave you too-" said my mom.
"Hey Vanessa !" Said Rafe as he was sniffing his nose as if he just did a line of coke which I absolutely hate.
"Hi" I said softly.
My mom closes the door behind us as Rafe goes closer to me as I start to get goosebumps. It's never good news when he's here.
"What's up?" I say as I hold his hand.
He pulls away as his pupils gets bigger as he walks around the room in a circle looking stressed.
"Have you ...have you been cheating on me?" Said Rafe as he got out a pocket knife and put it to my chest.
Of course I have cheated on him I cheat on him every night but if he found out I will be dead so...
"No" I say loudly
"You sure?" He sniffs
"Hm..." I just nod my head.
"Okay...uh well meet at the country club at 11:00 okay?" Said Rafe as he kissed my neck as he sat me up.
"Rafe what are you..."  I say trying to breathe
"Shhh" he says a he puts his hands down my thighs.
He kisses my neck as if he loves which he dose but still it feels really weird.
I try to pull away but he pushes me on the end of my bed trying to take my shirt off as I start not to breathe.
"Rafe-" I wheeze.
He lifts up my shirt as I kick him in the knee
"RAFE!" I shout as I get off the bed crying.
He sits on the other side of the room breathing heavily.
I just cry and curl up into a ball as he walks away slamming the door behind him.
I close my curtains as I lay on the bed sobbing

i go Downstairs as I quickly wipe my tears as I  walk through the kitchen to see my dad looking at me.
"bye I'm leaving!" I say as I don't even look at my dad.
"hey wait!" He yells.
i roll my eyes as I go up towards him
"you okay v?" He says as he eats.
"yeah!" I say softly
"Because if you need me for anythi-" said dad
"I'm fine god dad!" I yell
"Hey don't you dare leave you little brat!" Said my dad
i look back as I grab my wallet and walk out the back door as my dad is yelling at me about something but I didn't listen because I don't care.
i grab the keys to my baby blue jeep as I drive away.

As I arrive at the country club I take a huge deep breathe as I see Sarah and topper also there.
i start to think of what Rafe was doing again I started to sob as I say that blonde boy who always flirts with me
Jj Maybank he is from the cut "pouges" and he is trying to get a job so he works at the country club for 5 months now.
I quickly shake my head as I get out of the car as I walk towards the doors. "Morning Joe!" I say to the owner.
"mornin blondie " I say to JJ as I give him a $10 tip.
I walk towards the group as I sit next to Rafe and not look at him. Yes I am terrified of him now.
"hey guys!" I say talking to topper and Sarah.
"Hey sleepyhead!" Said Sarah as the waiter gave the drinks. Rafe puts his hand on my thigh as I jump and brush my leg away. Every time I think that now I get more and more scared. We just talk about what we are doing today and what's happening tonight because it's a Thursday night (party night).
i just sigh as I look over towards the blonde waitress  who is interesting to watch on messing up meals.

An hour passes by as they all sit up as we all leave as Sarah hugs goodbye. "Meet at beach at 8:00 okay?"
I say to Sarah hugging goodbye.
Rafe grabs my hand as he gives me a stare
"Why arent you talking to me?" He says
I just studer  and not speak as Sarah came up behind me.
"Leave her alone Rafe , I forgot my wallet !" As she winked at me as Rafe let go to me as I walk over towards JJ.
Every time I give him a tip I get a free meal.
"Yo blondie, where's my meal?" I say leaning on the table. "Here you go princess!" He winks back.
"Don't get to  head of yourself !" I say walking away while looking back as he looks at me.
I get in my car as I see Rafe dead staring at me.
I look the other way and get in the car.
I drive off to see the clouds starting to turn grey and a huge gas of wind start blowing.
I walk to the beach as I sit in a chair all day and go on my phone.

4 hours later I woke up from a wailing of the tornado siren. I quickly sit up and grab my stuff as I rush home I try to pick out the right key for my car but it didn't  work so I ran towards the closest shop as I read the tv it says hurricane Agatha.
I sigh because it says it will be around for the rest of the night and maybe be gone tomorrow. I sit down as a guy gives me a towel.

An hour later I called my mom to come pick me up and she finally arrived .
"Vanessa?!" She called out
"Vanessa scrubs daughter -" she called out
I look up as I hear my name I run towards her as she hugs me. I didn't want to call my dad after whatever things he said to me. "Come follow me!" We both got in the car and drove softly as there was road workers who helped us looks to get home.
As we arrived home we ran inside as fast as we could as the whole town went out as we stepped foot inside the house.
"Scooter?" Yelled out my mom
"Scooter?" She questioned getting a flashlight.
I went up to my room as I remember I left my car down by the beach. If my parents found out I lost my 3rd car they would kill me. I have either broke the car or lost it. This jeep was my third car. I turned around as I went on my phone and saw how I have no wifi.
I growled as I lay on my bed closing my eyes and I curled up.

The next morning I woke up to find a bird chirping on my window as I heard the frount door open. I got up as I went and used the bathroom as I saw the water work. I went and checked my phone we had wifi back and everything. The time was 11:07am and sunny.
I went downstairs to see my mom yelling in the kitchen
"Mom?" I said softly. "Ugh..I'm sorry if I woke you up"
She said as she went on her phone mad.
"What's happening?" I asked
"Have you seen your father?" She asked
"No...why?" My heart stopped for a minute
"He hasn't come home from yesterday morning" she say.
I felt really bad because I might have started the fight.
I quickly hugged mom as she calmed down for a minute. I ran up to my room as I got changed and brushed my teeth as I went into my parents room secretly looking for clues.
I checked everywhere even under the bed.
I left the room as I remembered the shed
I went outback as I searched until I gave up as I was leaving a note that fell down. I picked it up as  it said
Some street names and today's date. I stood there in shock as I snapped out of it and put on some shoes and my jumper as my mom asked "where you going?"......
That reminds me of my dad.
"Out" I say slamming the door behind me.
I quickly wipe the tears away as I realised I don't have a car. But my dad has a bike where he was going to give to Rafe but he got busy . I ran to the garage as I saw the motorcycle as I taped it and found the keys under the handles.
I grabbed the motorcycle helmet as I reved the engine as my mom came running out.
"Vanessa don't you even dare!" I drove the thing backwards as I left the house my mom was screaming at me as I kept on going. I just followed the instructions on the  note.
