**START**

"Excited na ako 'ga!" Justin happily exclaimed while getting his luggage ready.

Ken smiled at him and helped him pack his things. "Lagi ka naman excited pag uuwi tayong Pagadian," sagot niya.

Yes, they were getting ready, uuwi sila sa hometown ni Ken, and Justin was as always as excited as if first time niyang pupunta doon.

Well, aside from enjoying the quality time he gets with Ken, he also loves catching up with Ken's family and just learning things the probinsiya way. He grew up in an urban setting, kaya naman it always excites him to try things he had never done before. They make sure to visit the Suson's atleast twice a month and just take the time away from the city noise.

"Ken, pasalubong ha." biro ni Yani, he was the one to bring the two to the airport.

Ken waved at him, "Matic kuya."

Both were wearing baggy pants, hoodies, facemasks, and shades to cover themselves up. They would always try their best to stay lowkey to not draw attention.

"Jah, magpakabait ka dun," Yani then told Justin, waved to them, and left.

It always gladdens Justin's heart whenever he goes out with Ken, malayo man o malapit. The amount of trust he and Ken have earned from his family is unmeasureable. Especially for him na hindi naman sanay at hindi pinapayagan na pumunta sa kung saan mag-isa. But Ken never had to ask twice pag siya ang kasama ni Justin, laging payag ang mga magulang niya, maybe because they knew so well na inaaalagaan naman siya ni Ken.

"Alam mo 'ga, lately I feel like mas naging independent na ako," he proudly told Ken.

"Hmm, really?" sagot niya. He didn't take it seriously dahil Justin had said it many times before, but he was always proven otherwise.

Inakbayan siya ni Justin, "Yes! Promise I'm not going to be needing your help that much na." masaya niyang sabi.

"We'll see 'ga, we'll see." was Ken's answer, secretly smiling.

They went straight to the luggage scale to weigh their things. Ken was quietly watching Justin as he was having a hard time lifting his luggage to the scale.

"Let me, 'ga" Ken finally said, smiling at Justin.

He let go of his luggage and let Ken put it in the scale. "Bigat kasi eh," he reasoned out.

"It's okay, 'ga, I got you." sagot naman ni Ken habang hinihimas ang likod niya to console him. 'Independent, huh.' he smile at the thought.

They were waiting for their boarding and were just talking. Pasimpleng tumingin si Ken sa wristwatch niya, then he counted quietly on his mind, '3, 2, 1,...'

"Ga..." Justin softly called.

Ken smirked, "Hmmm?" He knew him so well. Alam niyang 10 minutes before they boarded, Justin would always chew on a mint. At wala itong makuhang mint sa sling bag niyang dala dahil nakita niyang inilagay iyon ni Justin sa luggage niya lahat.

Kaya naman Ken would always make sure that he has mint in his pocket.

"Wala pala akong dalang mint, nasa maleta pala." sabi nito habang kinakapa-kapa ang mga bulsa. "You have?" tanong nito.
