5 years has passed. Nezuko was now 14 years old, a high school student. The years had passed quietly, and with them, her thoughts of Muichiro had faded. She had made new friends, found new interests, and life had moved on. She no longer clung to the memories of her friendship with Muichiro as she once had.

However, despite the passage of time, some part of her had never fully forgotten him. There was always a small, tucked away corner in her heart that held onto the memories of their friendship, waiting to be stirred back to life.

Nezuko and Miyuki leaned against the brick wall of their high school, the lunch bell ringing in the distance. The courtyard was alive with students chatting and laughing, but Nezuko’s gaze was distant, clearly bored.

Miyuki noticed Nezuko’s lack of enthusiasm and nudged her lightly. “Hey, you okay? You seem a little off today.”

Nezuko shrugged, a hint of a smile playing on her lips. “I don’t know. Everything just feels kind of...routine. I’m tired of the same old thing.”

Miyuki’s eyes sparkled with mischief. “You know what? Let’s do something spontaneous. How about we sneak into the art room and see what’s going on in there?”

Nezuko raised an eyebrow. “Sneak into the art room? Isn’t that a bit risky?”

Miyuki grinned. “Exactly. That’s what makes it fun. Besides, it’s just us against the world right now.”

With a chuckle, Nezuko agreed, and the two friends made their way to the art room, dodging teachers and classmates. Inside, they found a world of colorful chaos—unfinished paintings, scattered brushes, and half-empty paint cans.

Nezuko picked up a brush and dipped it into a pot of blue paint. “Alright, let’s create something completely random.”

Miyuki laughed and grabbed a red paintbrush. “I’m in. Let’s make this the most vibrant chaos anyone has ever seen.”

As they started painting, their boredom melted away. The walls of the art room soon became a canvas for their creativity, filled with bold strokes and bright colors. By the time the bell rang signaling the end of lunch, the room was a masterpiece of spontaneous art.

Standing back to admire their work, Nezuko grinned at Miyuki. “You know, that was actually really fun.”

Miyuki smiled back, her eyes twinkling.
“Told you. Sometimes you just need to shake things up a bit.”

As they headed back to class, Nezuko felt a renewed sense of excitement. Maybe routine wasn’t so bad after all—especially with a friend like Miyuki by her side.

A week later.

"I hate school."
Nezuko says boredly.

"Wow, I never would've expected you to say that! I mean, like you are always so energetic in school.. Like I mean.. Uh... Idk, same." Miyuki responded.
