I woke up to someone knocking on the door furiously. I looked around and got startled to learn I was still at Ron's. Ron was snoring beside me and a stench of alcohol was coming from all around him. I lifted my heavy head and stepped out of the bed and continued to dress up beside the bed. Once I was done, I dragged my still-hangover self downstairs.
"Calm down! I am opening the damn door." I muttered as I reached for the door knob.
"Who the hell shows up at someone's door this early?" I asked after I opened the door.

"Someone stupid like me." The culprit responded, and I recognized the voice. I raised my brows and came into contact with Robin's sad eyes. I stared at her speechless and that's when I realized she was carrying a huge ballistic bag on her hand and a medium-sized backpack.

"Get back inside." Robin spoke, and pushed me in.

"I am sorry, Robin. I lost track of time. What time is it?"

"Thirty minutes after your wedding started." Robin responded sarcastically. She was now opening the huge ballistic bag and from where I stood I could see a white gown protruding from the bag.
"Put this on." Robin spoke and handed me the gown.

"I have to shower. I'll be down in a minute." I spoke and took my first step but Robin stopped me.
"What?" I asked

"You don't have time to shower. The Anderson have given you fifteen minutes to be at the church and if you're not there by then, then you can forget about the wedding."

"It wouldn't be the worst idea. It's not like I chose to marry Will Anderson."

"Yeah, but then you can kiss your parent's dream goodbye. Think about how angry they would be with you." Robin spoke
"Come on! Put the damn dress on, Lenny. We only have ten minutes." She added and helped me out on the long wedding dress.
"Sit down." Robin commanded, and so I sat on Ron's couch. Robin grabbed her backpack and removed a makeup set and applied my makeup and once she was done, she brushed and styled my hair.
"Shoes." She spoke and helped me put on a pair of silver heels.

"Do you still I think shouldn't shower?" I asked
"You know Ron and I did it a few hours ago."

"Not my problem , Lenny." Robin responded
"Let's go." Robin said after she removed a bouquet from her huge ballistic bag and handed it to me.

"You really came prepared." I spoke

"Let's go." Robin said as she took her first step.

"What about Ron? Should I wake him up and let him know that I am leaving?"

"He's not your problem, Lenny. Get the hell out now." Robin responded, grabbed Ron's motorbike keys from the table and walked out. I followed her.

"Why did you take Ron's keys?"

"We are not going to fly ourselves to the church. We need a ride." Robin responded while still walking hurriedly to where Ron's bike was parked.

"That's insane. Call a taxi for heaven's sake." I spoke after I caught up with Robin at the parking lot.
Ignoring me, she hopped on and started the bike.
"We don't know how to ride a motorbike, Robin. Come on, step down and let's order Uber."

"You don't know how to ride a bike but I do. So, drop the act and get your ass on the damn bike. We have five minutes to get to the church." Robin spoke, and although I would have loved to convince her that she was crazy I hopped on and stuck with praying God for a safe arrival.
Once I was on the bike, Robin drove away in a high speed that I started screaming whilst begging her to slow down which she didn't.
About three minutes later, we arrived at the church.

"You're fucking insane. You could have killed us there." I spoke angrily

"But I didn't." Robin spoke and grinned.
"At least we arrived on time." She added, and held my hand and led me to the church's entrance.

"I feel a little bit sweaty. I should have showered."

"Stop whining. I got you." Robin said, and removed a bottle of perfume from a small purse she was carrying and sprayed me.
"Smells good, huh?"

"Let's get this over with." I said, and took a step. Robin walked beside me.

Walking inside the vast church that was crowded by wedding attendees, I felt hundred of eyes on me. Everyone was staring at me and muttering among themselves making me feel a little embarrassed.
"Who the hell arrives almost an hour late for the wedding?" I felt my head formulating the question as we stood at the church's doorstep.
I shifted my focus to the front of the church, and came into contact with my parents and the Anderson's family. My parents were looking disappointed and when I locked eyes with my mom, she shot a killer glare at me. On the other side, Will Anderson was standing beside his parents and from how dull his face was looking, I did not need to be told that he was angry. However, he was looking super handsome in his exquisitely designed grey suit.

A few seconds later, my mom walked towards us still putting on a sad facial expression.
"I'll go take my seat. Your mom is going to walk you down the aisle." Robin said, and walked down the aisle. My mom tapped on her shoulder as the walked past each other.

"I am sorry, mom.'" I apologized as soon as mom closed the distance between us.

"You have disappointed us, Lenny. You embarrassed us and if we weren't in a church I would have slapped your face." My mom spoke in a low but very agitated voice.
"Don't you want to get married, Lenny?" My mom asked, and at that moment I heard a voice screaming from deep inside saying;" yes, I don't want to get married."

"I want to." I responded, and my mom grinned at me.

"Now put on a smile and walk with me down the aisle and go get married to the lovely Will Anderson." Mom added, and held my hand and walked me down the aisle smiling.
