Anushka pulled the chair across from Virat with a graceful yet slightly hurried movement, sliding into it with a hint of breathlessness. "Sorry for being late," she said, her cheeks tinged with a hint of embarrassment, a sheepish smile playing on her lips, as she tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

Virat's eyes lit up at the sight of her, the corners of his mouth curling up into a teasing grin. "You know, I was starting to think you'd forgotten about me," he remarked playfully, leaning back in his chair with an exaggerated pout, crossing his arms with fake offense.

"Oh please, as if I could forget our little coffee dates," she replied, rolling her eyes playfully, but the smile on her lips betrayed her amusement. "Traffic was insane! You know how it is with Mumbai and its infamous traffic."

Anushka shook her head, a mix of frustration and amusement in her voice. Taking a deep breath to regain her composure, she glanced around the cafe, soaking in the cozy ambiance. The air was rich with the warm, inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee, enveloping them like a comforting hug. "Anyways, have you already ordered something?" she asked, raising an eyebrow with playful curiosity. "I swear I need to fuel up after that chaotic drive!" She leaned forward, resting her elbows on the table.

Virat chuckled, leaning forward slightly, his playful grin widening. "Yes, I've already ordered a vanilla latte, a sweet cappuccino, and a slice of chocolate cheesecake along with a mocha cake."

Just as Virat finished speaking, the waiter appeared at their table, balancing a tray laden with delectable treats. "Your order, sir," the waiter announced with a professional smile, carefully setting down the rich chocolate cheesecake and the decadent mocha cake in front of them.

The sight of the pastries had Anushka's eyes widening in delight, her earlier fatigue momentarily forgotten. Virat quickly turned to the waiter, flashing his charming smile. "Thank you! This looks amazing," he said, his voice laced with genuine appreciation.

"The drinks will arrive shortly, till then enjoy the pastries," the waiter replied, a friendly smile crossing his face, before turning to leave them to their conversation.

As the waiter walked away, Virat noticed Anushka staring wide-eyed at the pastries, her mouth curving into a soft smile, yet she hadn't touched them. The sight of her lost in thought made his heart flutter, but he couldn't help but frown slightly. He leaned in closer, his brow furrowing with concern. "Hey, why aren't you eating? Those are your favorites, right?"

His tone was light, as Virat gestured towards the pastries, his expression shifting from playful to earnest. Anushka blinked, her eyes flicking from the pastries to Virat's warm, concerned gaze, disbelief creeping into her expression. A soft, astonished smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she tilted her head slightly, her voice soft yet touched with wonder.

"You remembered?" she asked, her tone carrying a mix of surprise and admiration, as her eyes searched his face as if trying to grasp how he could still remember such a small but personal detail from their past conversations.
