The other toons came rushing in after hours of searching for the last ichor machine. Heavy gasps filled the room. "Bark Bark!" Pebble ruffed excitedly, rushing around the elevator filled with energy from the last floor.
"Ah..Pe--..Pebble.." Astro coughed, attempting multiple attempts to clear his throat. However, no matter how hard he tried, inside his neck was just dry.
"..Bworf??"
Before another word was spoken, the little trapdoor at the end of the elevator revealed a wooden stand. An oh, so familar, medium sized sign on the front.
"Hey! I got some goodies for-.." Dandy's words faded as he glanced at Pebble, soft growls escaped the dogs grinded teeth.
Pebble seemed to be staring at the stock on the pillows on top of his stand.
"Oh, Pebble! you okay-"
When the flower tried to simply continue, he felt a sharp pain on his arm.
"AGH- wh.."
He yelped, quickly snapped to his left arm.
Dandy's eyes unfocused everything around him. Except the outraged Pebble, his own dog, sinking his teeth into his arm.
