Maraiah's POV

However, it was wrong of me to allow myself to be held like that because I didn't want that moment to end. Just like I said, her arms are where I wanted to be...forever. The desire to fight my feelings for her immediately filled my chest because I realized that my life would not return to normal once I let go of her.

Mikhail gently separated her body from mine. I closed my face in my palms and carefully wiped away the traces of tears. Her eyes were full of emotion again. The kind of emotion that I thought was love was shining in her eyes. And I wanted to cry again because of that.

"I love you." It was a whisper, but it clearly reached my ears and went straight to my heart.

"Trust me, I love you." I bit my lower lip.

"H-how much do you love me, Mikhail? Do you love me like I love you? If I asked you to fight for me and choose me, would you do it?" I said hopefully.

"B-but where will you be happy...I-I'm ready to let you go if you ask..." So please don't say you love me. I'll accept your children and we'll start again.

"No scientist or inventor can measure my love for you." But that was enough to make me want to sleep at night.

"Big sis!" Mikhail turned to the source of the voice at the same time. I saw the boy who looked like a boy version of Mikhail, and the girl as they approached where we were.

But why doesn't she have a big stomach? And the clothes she is wearing, why are they different? Big sis?! I felt like I was bitten by a snake when I realized that it was the boy who called Mikhail big sis.

"Mikhail, I'm sorry but our pick-up is already there so I brought Laizer to you."

"I don't know what happened, but when I got back Ariel said you chased a girl. Wait, why are your cheeks red?" I looked at her. My brow furrowed, then a thin smile appeared on my lips.

"We haven't formally met yet, have we? Hi. I'm Areilla, you must be Maraiah." And I seem to be predicting what happened.

"H-hi," I answered. Mikhail put her arms around me and pulled me closer to her body.

"Okay. Uhm, I have to go. Just ask Mikhail, she will surely have an answer to those who are troubling your mind. Bye." I turned to the boy.

"Laizer, it's nice meeting you. If your sister allows you, I can take you anywhere. Bye, darling." I'm not sure, but it seems that she emphasized the word 'sister' as well as giving me a knowing look. And I felt ashamed.

Little by little, I looked at Mikhail. She might be Areilla's twin. If that's the case... I rested a hundred percent. I could only have made my own conclusion. But could anyone be blamed for acting like that? I also bowed my head. I didn't know how to face the young man. I felt so hopeless again, but she stopped me from self-pity.

"We'll talk later. Don't feel guilty because I'll punish you." It's a weak language. The voice seemed to be joking.

"Cheer up." I looked at her. I shook my head and smiled before pressing the bridge of my nose.

"I love you." She mouthed that, giving me a chill all over. Then she released me and she carried her brother.

"Laizer, I want you to meet my girlfriend, Maraiah. Honey, meet my youngest brother, Laizer Draze." I swallowed in no time. There were so many questions crowding my mind.

"Hi Laizer." I tried to smile.

"Hello," he said before tilting his head to Mikhail's ear.

"She's as beautiful as Miyaka."

"Who is Miyaka?" Mikhail asked.

"My crush in class."

"Oh, all right," Mikhail said with a laugh. I also smiled at their whispers.

"Maraiah, is she the one you're going to propose to, big bro? The one you bought the ring at Cartier? Isn't that the only ring you sent to Paris?" I was stunned by what he said. He only whispered softly to Mikhail, but I heard it. My tears, which seemed to be dams earlier, are now dry as I look at them. Mikhail laughed out loud.

"Yes to both questions. How did you know? Ah, I'm sure it's the talkative Cole! There, Laizer, you've ruined my strategy. How else can I think of a romantic proposal like that you just said?" Mikhail winked at me, making my face turn red. What the hell is happening now?

"Sorry brother..." Laizer turned to me.

"You're going to marry my big sis, aren't you?" My mouth fell open.

"Huh?" I felt as if I had resisted that question. I glanced at Mikhail. She smiles while the corner of her lips is still raised.

The little lights in her eyes twinkled with pleasure. I felt even more guilty when I saw that her left cheek was still red. I wanted to caress it so that the pain would go away.

"Hey...!" Mikhail's behavior was shocked when Laizer put his hand in the pocket of his pants. Although she didn't try to stop her brother's hand. And there, slowly, he took out an even.

He opened it and revealed a ring. I even gasped when the sunlight immediately hit it, causing the small diamonds decorated around it to sparkle. It was beautiful and perfect.

"Will you marry my brother and be his wife and the be the mother of his children which will be my nephews and nieces?" He said it again while looking up at her and holding the ring. I glanced at Mikhail again. At that time, she was no longer laughing, but her eyes were full of emotion. I looked at her as if I had said those things, as if she was proposing to me.

She sat down so that she and her brother were at the same height. Then she looked up to meet her gaze.

"Yes!"

THEY ARRIVE IN CONDO.

"On my room." Mikhail said when we arrived at her condo unit. We first took Laizer to Claizer's restaurant. During the trip, he became talkative so I found out that she meant that ring in another country. I also learned from him what the story behind what I saw at the airport was really.

"Let's just talk here in the living room," I said. I still couldn't believe that her ring was already on my finger. It just fits perfectly.

"No. I prefer it in my room," she said before starting to walk.

I didn't do anything but follow her, after all, I was the one to blame. When I entered, I found her taking off her top. Exposing one perfect artwork of masculinity. My whole face warmed as I remembered the hot moment that happened between me and her.

All that is reminded by her eyes. Damn my eyes for being so expressive. Thank God, she did not take off her pants. She went to the bed and lay down there. But she was far from sleeping. Her head is caught by her tangled palms.

Her lips were smiling and her eyes were teasing as she looked at me. I couldn't look at her directly because every time I did, my eyes would go to her naked body. I couldn't concentrate. Her eyes make my chest pound. And why does her room seem so romantic?

"Sorry..." she said. She must have gathered all the courage she had to approach me. She shifted slightly, I was sitting on the edge of the bed.

"E-earlier, I wanted to surprise you that I would be the one to pick you up. B-but I was the one who was surprised...I...I-I saw you and Laizer and also the pregnant woman who happens to be your ex's twin. I thought...I thought" she let out a deep breath.

"You think I'm just fooling you?" I nodded slowly.

"I c-couldn't help it. I love you so much that I feel like I'll die if I lose you."

"Why didn't you confront me? If I hadn't seen you, you would have just left. And I'm sure you'll hide in some corner of the world just to avoid me. Then I'd be crazy to think what happened." I could not answer. I was guilty. I bowed my head.

"I...I'm sorry. I just love you too much, can you blame me? The thought of losing you was killing me. Anyone can't think of a logical reason at that time."

"I understand," she said before gently pulling me to lie next to her. I did not object. I leaned over her chest. After a while, I could feel her palm gently stroking my hair.

"You know what? If you love someone, never let go. Letting go doesn't always mean that you love best, instead fight for your love, that's what true love is. In the future, we will face even heavier trials. All I ask is that you be open with me, honey. Share your thoughts and doubts; ask your questions because questions are meant to be answered." I could only bite my lips as guilt sinks in.

"Why didn't you correct me right away?"

"I tried, but you made me taste the harshness of your slap. You were so angry that I thought of loosening your chest first by screaming and shouting. And of course, you hurt me." I secretly chastised myself for that.

"I'm really sorry..." I said before slowly moving my palm until it reached her cheek. I gently caressed her cheek while I was still sitting on the bed.

"D-does it still hurt?"

"Yes." She answered immediately.

"Can a kiss cure that?"

"Why don't you try," she hoarsely said. I got out of bed and sat up again. She stares at me lovingly. When a thin smile drew on my lips, she knew that I was not angry, or if I was angry, I had already forgiven her. I gently caressed her cheek before kissing it.

"Does it still hurt?" I asked softly. One of Mikhail's arms wrapped around my body.

"Yes." She laughed.

"Maybe this will make the pain go away..." I said before claiming her lips.

As soon as our lips met, our world seems to stand still. We are sharing hungry kisses that are pleasurable for both of us, unfolding thousands of sensations in every nerve ending. In a quick movement, Mikhail was able to bring me under her body.

I encircled my arms around her. Until we both gasped. She smiled, a smile that had an effect on me because those smiles could still make my heart beat. When I lay down next to her, she took me in her arms to hug me softly.

"I love you."

"I love you, too." I answered before snuggling into her body with a smile on my face.

"Quin...?"

"Hmm...?"

"Get up. Let's dance. That's my punishment to you for accusing me." I stared but immediately a smile appeared on my lips. I immediately felt a strange excitement. I stood up.

"Ha?"

"Ok" I said, and she quickly got up and went to the location of the cassette player.

I also adjusted the light of the room to make it dim. I swallowed softly, my eyes were already on her. She was still wearing no top. Shoes on her feet, wearing pants and a binder bra. She was so damn sexy. And those soulful eyes seemed to penetrate to my bones - the kind of gaze that softens the knees.

"It is." I said before releasing the tie of my hair. I was wearing just right. A sleeveless mini dress above the knee length. I bit my lips seductively. If this will be my punishment, then I will do everything to get back at her.

She stopped in front of me. Uninhibitedly, I ran my palms in a very sensual way over her naked body. Her hands landed on my butt, lightly squeezing them that made me gasp. I approached her, then we started to dance seductively, teasingly, passionately.

This was the best thing in life: songs to sing, dreams to pursue, joys to ensure, and a love to share. I was lucky because her heart chose her, and I found those things.

Finally, my dreams of Princess Charming and happily ever after are already at hand. I will make sure that that will not be lost because to love someone is one thing, to be loved is another, but to be loved by the one you love is everything.
