Sonlee: The Green Kid
On the far away island, there was a green kid named Sonlee. He is happily living with his father and his mother.
Sonlee loves riding on a boat that was a gift given by his father on his 6th birthday, and he loves going fishing alone, too.
One day, he goes to the sea to go fishing. After one hour of fishing, he didn’t catch any so he decided that he’s going to do sun bathing. After a little while, he saw a big fin on the water. He knew that it was a shark!
“There’s a shark!” he shouted even if he was alone in the middle of the sea. “And a crocodile too comes over the boat!” he added.
Sonlee was scared for his life. He panicked and looked around if there was anyone he could ask for help. But he was disappointed because no one is around and the shark is going nearer and closer.
“Don’t come over!”
Sonlee shouted and tried to shoo the shark away from his speed boat but to no avail. The shark is getting near even more.
After a scary moment of his life, Sonlee heard another boat towards his direction. It’s bigger than the one he owns.
“Help! There’s a shark and a crocodile!” he shouted again and waved his hand to catch attention to the people in the other boat.
A little while had passed and there was a hand grenade that flew in the air and it landed on the boat. The green kid grabbed the grenade and threw it into the water.
The shark explodes and the crocodile gets mad. The green kid takes a fishing rod and tries to catch the crocodile. But the crocodile is too big for the green kid’s fishing rod. So the fishing rod was cut and the crocodile gets angry even more and then the crocodile tries to bite the green kid.
Sonlee, the green kid is uff and he fell down into the water. Luckily, the people from the other boat rescue him by throwing a life jacket and a life preserver.
“Thank you so much for saving me!” Sonlee said while a tear stung in the corner of his eyes.
Sonlee said his thank you to those people who help him and they get his boat too into their house.
“Thank you so much for saving my son,” Sonlee’s father said. “Let’s eat for a finner later as a thank you gift from my family,” he added.
Sonlee and his family invited those people who saved him for dinner to show their gratefulness towards them.
When the night came, Sonlee, the green kid, his family, and the people who saved him eating and talking and laughing happily.
