Sonlee and the Spider Puppy
Once upon a time, when Sonlee went home from school, he saw a puppy on the side of the road that was almost hit by a car. He was just a little puppy who looks like he lost his track to his owner, so Sonlee decided to adopt him. He named him Spider Puppy because his wearing spiderman clothes—Sonlee’s favorite superhero—and it looks so cute.
As the days passed by, they then became best friends. They play together in the park and in their house. Sonlee is taking good care of Spider Puppy without expecting what this puppy could do for him in return. He just wanted to help this little puppy who was—he thought, abandoned in the middle of the busy road—since no one is looking for him.
Sonlee loves Spider Puppy so much like he really owns it. He treated Spider Puppy like his own family and loves him so much. He bought clothes, foods, and other stuff for him. Sonlee even bought toys so that Spider Puppy won’t get sad whenever he isn’t at home. Sonlee always thought about Spider Puppy’s well-being every time he went to school.
One day, Sonlee and Spider Puppy go to the park to play. They’re smiling and laughing at each other while playing with different colors of balls in the ball pit. But little did they not know that there was a snake in one of the ball pits and it tried to bite Sonlee, thankfully, Spider Puppy was there to help him.
The snake tried to bite Sonlee, but Spider Puppy scratched the snake’s tail so it would go to him and leave Sonlee alone. And when the snake did, the Spider Puppy barked and barked and then, he fought with the snake for almost an hour until the snake died.
Sonlee is still scared because of the snake, but Spider Puppy came over and cuddled with him, trying to comfort him after he made sure that the snake was dead already.
Lesson learned:
Dogs are known as the people’s best friend, and they already proved it for how many times. Helping someone is good and expecting nothing in return from saving a lost puppy is something that not everyone has in mind. But for Sonlee, adopting Spider Puppy is the best decision he ever made. And for Spider Puppy, he just wanted to protect his best friend from the danger.
