What happened there didn't stay there. News of Nassar's third daughter spread like wildfire through the headquarters, piquing everyone's curiosity.

The revelation sparked renewed speculation and betting among everyone about who would be able to get to her firsts. Thanks to Max and Jorgo.

I didn't tell anyone besides, my childhood friends Illiya and Demian and I doubt any of them spread the word around. Although with Illiya you never knew.

My own mind had been consumed by her face ever since, and all I could think whenever I looked at myself or the marks she had left, was the sensation of her lips against mine.

I felt like a hormonal teenager, constantly thinking about her and becoming hard the next second.

I was walking on thorns, waiting for Nassar to finally punish me so I could move on with my life. But so far, whenever our paths crossed, he ignored me. Not that I would have it any other way but I had hope that maybe...just maybe he forgot.

Yesterday, I had tried to distract myself with a good game of poker at the casino and walked away mid game because I didn't like the way the woman's touch felt. The last time I did that, my son had called, and I had rushed home to be with him.

A hand touched my back, and the next moment, Nassar pulled me into his office, slamming the door behind him.

I stood there, frozen, as he approached me, sitting down his desk, his cold gaze pinning me to the spot. My luck just ran out.

"Where is she?" Nassar demanded, his voice a low growl. I swallowed hard, my heart pounding in my chest. His biceps bulged beneath his sleeves, as if he was flexing his physical strength.

"We took her to a hospital," I replied, shortly.

I hadn't heard from her since that day, because I was trying to forget her but beyond the physical attraction, I was also genuinely concerned for her.

"You disobeyed me," he said, his tone cold and menacing. I lowered my head, unable to meet his gaze.

"I apologize, sir," I mumbled, my voice trembling slightly.

"I noted your miss," Nassar said, his voice dripping with contempt.

My head snapped up, shock and fear coursing through me. "What?!" I shouted, momentarily forgetting my place or who was standing in front of me. His amusement only fueled my panic.

My accuracy was crucial for the upcoming award ceremony. I had perfect score of 99% which I worked hard for. If I performed worse than Illiya, I would be the laughingstock of the headquarters.
