I unlocked the car door to the driver's seat and buckled my seatbelt. I was starting to regret driving here. I pinched the bridge of my nose realizing how tired I was. Lexus startled me by opening the passenger door sliding in.

"What are you doing?"

I asked him confused.

His range rover was parked a few feet away from my car so there wasn't any reason for him to ride with me. Instead of answering, he threw his phone at me, and I caught it midair.

Shit! I was being followed. Again.

A picture of me the other night was displayed on Lexus' phone screen. The angle showed my face clearly, but the other face was blurred. Thank god.

"Do you want me to deal with it? I can think of a good way to handle people like her." He said, smirking.

I scowled at him, and he raised a brow. Usually, Lexus handles all matters which can tarnish the family image, but I was sure about this one.

There was no way Hazel did this.

Hazel.

"She didn't do it. Pretty sure those damn paparazzi are still following me."

"Wait, what's gotten into you? How sure are you that she didn't do it? Did she blackmail you or something?"

He sounded alert and I rolled my eyes at him. "What the hell man? Don't be dramatic. Of course not! Why would you think that."

"Is she a hook up? How long have you been seeing her? Wait, can I get her number if she's that good." I threw his phone back, and he caught it easily laughing hard. I mean I don't know why I was pissed.

Hazel.

All events from that night started to rush back all at once.

"I mean it's not like we didn't share before! When did you become so greedy?!" he winked at me and I sighed. I wanted to punch his smirk off.

"I'll take care of it. Now get the hell out of my car before I commit murder."

His face suddenly became serious when he called my name. "Sorry man. Though my reaction is not that far from Izzy's." he gave me a salute and headed to his car.

What the fuck?

How the hell was I going to live with someone who was not loved by at least a single family member. No one told me that they were against me marrying her but now it seems like everyone was kind of relieved.

I drove out through the gate and started calling Jace, my assistant. He answered on the second ring.

"I need information about someone ASAP." I sent him the address.

It was nearing midnight. The streets of New York were busy with people and among them there was someone who was hiding out there sending me crazy paparazzi.

The screen flashed with Debbie's name. I raked my fingers through my dark hair in frustration. I sent it directly to voicemail, and I heard her whining voice.

"Ace, I'm not sure why you are ignoring my calls. I just want to know how you are doing. I'm going to wait for you."

The fuck. She wouldn't dare come to the penthouse after cheating on me.

Or would she?

I sped to my apartment to witness Debbie crutching her purse punching some codes to open the door. Confident that I changed the passcode I left her to struggle some more.

"What are you doing here?" My cold voice reverberated in that hallway, and she dropped her purse startled.

Instantly her eyes filled with tears and she could have fooled me if I didn't know better.
