Deidamia felt the presence of her sixth eye way before it even entered your chest. She clutched her head, leaning forward in pain as she sat on her throne.

A flood of familiar scenes invade her mind, taking over her head in a frenzy.

Deidamia's eyes were hollow and unfeeling.

The bottom of her feet has grown new skin after walking miles and miles, her blood staining the path she walked on ages ago.

It's been months since she had decimated her whole town, leaving her love behind as she struggled to find the meaning of her now never-ending life.

A spec in the distance catches her attention, her gaze turning stony and dark.

Suddenly the spec disappears, a man appears in front of her in a flash, as if lightning had struck.

Deidamia halts in her tracks, noticing the human carrying one child on his back and the other on his hip.

His expression was distraught and haggard, indicating he was in a hurry.

Deidamia didn't recognize him, but he recognized the one on his back that seemed to have contracted a disease that mutilated parts of her skin.

"You're... you're the only one that can help them." The man said, that both of his kids were infected with the epidemic that had invaded their home.

Deidamia's eyebrows furrow.

"You may be a curse now, but you owe it to my daughter." He said vehemently. His heaven-blue eyes were piercing and determined.

Yes, his daughter was there after the slaughter of her town. The one that buried Aster.

She looked down at the boy in his arms.

"Him too. Help them both."

"No." She replied. "I don't want to."

"I've heard stories." The man ignored her answer. "About your power. That you can do anything."

"Insolence." She hissed. "Quit babbling. Whether they perish is none of my concern. I owe nothing to that girl and even less to men who can't do anything for themselves." Deidamia's voice spewed poison into the air as though she was reciting dark poetry.
