Erik's POV
I woke up to kisses on my jaw from Pamela's soft lips. A small chuckle escapes my mouth making Pamela laugh. "Good morning, Erik" my eyes slowly open to see those beautiful brown eyes staring down at me with such a bright smile.

I smile lazily at her before I lean in and kiss her. "Good morning, Pamela. How'd you sleep after last night? " she kisses me on my nose before sitting up in a seated position. "Pretty good my friend. Last night night was really something."

"It sure was, yeah

"It sure was, yeah. Did you like it?" I nervously look back up to her. "No.. I loved it " I laughed "oh thank God " she giggles then crawls over me to sit on my lap. "Your so adorable when you get nervous. " I smiled as I pull her down by sliding my hands down her back, making it where she's on my chest. I loved the way she was staring so I kissed her. "Sorry, I couldn't resist you right there" I said between the kiss.
"That's ok... I like these " she whispered while gently running her finger over my lips. "You wanna take a bath?" I asked as she nods. "We definitely should before we leave this place." I nod but was quite disappointed. This hotel was not only so beautiful and nice, but it's the first place where Pam and I shared our first intimate moment together. It is a hotel though, what should I have expected?

Pamela grabs my hand as we both crawl out of bed and make our way to the bathroom....

Kevin's POV
"What do you mean killed him? The kid is still out there. We have a witness. She saw him and now we gotta go kill her too! Josh what the hell were you thinking?" I yell as Josh stood beside my bed. "Sir, he can regenerate. I couldn't kill him." My eyes go wide in disbelief. That shouldn't work for him. He was just supposed to be tested on and that's it, but to regenerate? We got a whole new problem now. "What do you mean? He's not supposed to have that ability. In fact, this test should have killed him right then and there.
Josh, I don't care what you do to your boy, just get him back here. Dead or alive just get me the body to Erik Draven. "....

Erik's POV
"Hahahha! No you can't just put it in the vase all summer and hope it grows, you gotta water it too, Erik!" Pamela and I laughed as we walked hand in hand down the streets of Maine. We were planning on leaving this state so we could get as far away from my father and Kevin as we possibly could in such short notice.

After a very passionate conversation about flowers, Pamela and I made it down to the train station. It won't take us out of Maine, but it will get us halfway across town. The whole idea is to get the hell out of here alive.

I held Pam's hand in mine as we stood on the sidewalk with a group of people. All of us patiently waiting for the train to arrive. It must've been close, the horn could be heard from a nearby distance. As I stood beside Pamela, I take a look at all the people standing by us. Lots of business men and women, families with their children, three elderly women and their dogs, and my father... wait my father!? I quickly turn around and look again to make sure, I could've mistaken him for someone else, someone innocent, but no, that was my father. He was looking down at his phone. he probably didn't see us but he was either about to or we had to hide. I look back in front of us and gently squeeze Pam's hand, she looks my way and smiles. "Hey" I lean in towards her and whispered in her ear, "Don't make it obvious. Look over my shoulder." She furrows her brows then slowly looks behind me.
"Holy shit!" She whispered then quickly turned around, back to our previous position. "What the fuck?" I turn to Pamela and lean in once again. "If we walk, he'll see us." I said quietly, before discreetly looking behind me again. Josh looks to the left, still holding his phone as the train horn goes off again. "ALL PASSENGERS, PLEASE BE AWARE OF OPENING DOORS. NEXT STOP TOWN DOWN MAINE. PLEASE HAVE BAGS OR OTHER ITEMS READY TO BOARD TRAIN." the voice operator says as the train comes into sight. "Erik" Pamela whispers as Josh was now standing right behind us. I put my hand up to my mouth, letting Pamela know we needed to stay quiet as the train was now pulling up.
"ALL PASSENGERS, PLEASE BOARD TRAIN NOW" the doors opened, allowing Pamela and I to step on board. Lots of people have arrived since Pamela and I had, making it much tighter for us. I grab the steel bar in the middle of the train and pull Pamela along with me. "JUST HOLD ON PAM!" I yell over the loud people as I have Pamela right in front of me. I wrapped my arms around her so I'm shielding her as many people surround us. I managed to get eyes on Josh again as he sits a few seats away from where Pam and me were standing. "ALL DOORS CLOSING" The doors then slowly close, making me let out a deep breath. "DOWNTOWN MAINE, NEXT. HOLD OR SIT WITH CAUTION. " the train then slowly starts moving again.

I rest my chin on Pam's head while watching Josh, he was texting someone on his phone before he calmly puts it back in his coat pocket. I'm assuming it was Kevin, he had been texting. Watching his face calmly, I see him crack his knuckles then look my way. I instantly look to my right.
"Erik, he's looking " Pamela says quietly as I look back at him. Sure enough, he's looking right at us. Shit.
"Pam, we gotta move" I said and quickly unwrap my arms from around her and grab her hand. "Excuse us " I said to the elderly man behind me and pull Pam with me to the back. "Erik, he's getting up!" Pam yells as I looked over my shoulder. He knows it's us. "THAT MAN HAS A GUN!" I yell, pointing to my father, making everyone scream and a couple ego maniacs instantly run towards my father. "PAMELA, COME ON!" I yelled as she struggled to hold my hand through the upset crowd of people.
"WE NEED TO GET OFF ON THIS NEXT STOP" I said to Pam as we stand against the wall of the train, now in the back.

I saw my father yelling back at the ragged crowd saying, "NO I'M INNOCENT! THAT'S MY SON BACK THERE. " I instantly look at Pamela as the voice operator says "FIRST STOP, ONE MINUTE AWAY" I let out a breath as Pam gently rubs my arm. Her soft fingertips help relax some of my tension as my father gets closer to us. "Hurry up!" I whispered as we had probably thirty more seconds before the train stopped. Though thirty seconds isn't long, it felt like forever under this pressure. A man who wants me and Pamela dead is ten feet away and is slowly making his way towards us.

"ALL PASSENGERS, PLEASE COLLECT ALL ITEMS BEFORE EXITING THE TRAIN" Oh finally! The train stops and the doors slowly open. I instantly push through the crowd as Pam held on tightly to me. "ERIK! SOMEONE STOP HIM." Josh yells as Pam and me step off the train and start running as fast as we could. He knows we're here and is probably calling for backup.

We get to a staircase of stairs and instantly start running down them. There's another train down below the first level, which is where Pam and I are now. We held hands tightly as the train was already boarding people on.
I don't know where it's going but it's our only way out. "ERIK!" Pam yelps as my father comes racing down the stairs. "ERIK?" he yells as I quickly look back at the train. "HOLD THE DOOR!" I scream to the man just entering the train. "PLEASE, HOLD THE DOOR!" He looks alarmed but quickly steps in front of it and prevents it from closing. Pam and I were running for our lives literally, as we nearly jumped into the train. "CLOSE IT, CLOSE IT, CLOSE IT!" Pamela and I yell as the man quickly backs up. "NNNOOOOO!" My father yells in pure rage as the doors just close, locking him out of the train. He looked furious as the train slowly starts to move. "NEXT STOP, EASTWOOD" Pamela and I both clasp together in the seat beside the window in pure exhaustion. We were out of breath, terrified, and tired. I wrap my arm around her shoulders as she snuggles up into my chest before I kiss her head. She was so scared too.

"Thank you" I mouthed to the kind man who held the door for us. He nods before taking a seat a few rows in front of us. At least now we're safe and on our way out of this state....
