Let's begin this story of Arrancar & the Anti-Demon Corps, Hollows & Shuuki, and Hueco Mundo by meeting a young man who finds himself in an impossible situation that leads to his death. However is death merely the beginning for him?

The concept of gender equality was a thing of the past, ever since countless decades ago when a parallel dimension known as Mato opened up. Out of it came monsters of destruction, known as the Shuuki, they wreaked havoc on humanity. All hope seemed lost until the discovery of the Peaches, strange fruits that grew within Mato that when consumed granted humans a unique power. It only worked on women however, leading to a power imbalance with women governing the world and men taking up most menial jobs. The Anti-Demon Corps work tirelessly to combat the Shuuki and prevent the loss of human life if these monsters break into our world. However not everyone can be saved, although the human soul is a powerful thing, perhaps deep within it holds untold power as well.

In a city within the country of Japan, a young man was seen walking down the sidewalk. He had short spiky orange hair and piercing brown eyes. He was rather tall, standing at six foot and three inches, he wore a white shirt with an ornate black cross design on the front. He wore a sleeveless black vest over top of it, a pair of worn jeans and worn sneakers adorned his legs.

This young man was eighteen year old Izuho Kurogane, a recent high school graduate who lived alone and worked a part time job to support himself. The young man let out a frustrated sigh as pinched the bridge of his nose.

Izuho: I swear if I have one more customer yell at me because they don't know how sales at a freaking grocery store work. I might just storm out and quit that damn job.

Izuho looked up at the sky as he adjusted the backpack on his back slightly, letting out another annoyed growl.

Izuho: Hope you guys are having a better time on the other side, Mom, Dad.....

Izuho shook his head in frustration as he tried to rid his mind of the thoughts of his deceased parents. As the orange haired teen continued to walk through the streets of the city, he spotted two women in military style uniforms, handing out fliers advertising the Anti-Demon Corps.

Izuho: Can't imagine how spread thin they are having to cover that entire alternate dimension. Must be rough knowing that no matter how hard you try you can't save everyone that falls into that damn place.

Izuho grimaced as his mind once again turned towards his late parents, both had fallen victim to a Mato Disaster when he had entered his first year of high school. His mother had been a brilliant doctor who personally supplied medical care to members of the Anti-Demon Corps. His father had been a construction worker, helping repair buildings damaged during attacks from Shuuki when they escaped Mato.

Izuho: I wish both of you were still here, maybe I could've ended up helping people just like both of you did.....

Izuho let out a defeated sigh, despite how rare it was nowadays for men to become doctors, he had hoped to follow in his mother's footsteps. However after their untimely deaths Izuho had no choice but to immediately start working in order to financially support himself, giving up on his dream in the process.
