"Wake up birthday girl!" Alisha yelled jumping up and down on my bed.
"Let me sleep Alisha," I groaned.
"No. This is going to be the best birthday of your life little Ms. Legal Adult," Alisha announced.
I laughed. "Fine. What is your plan to make this the best birthday of my life?"
"We. We are going to the mall," she exclaimed.
"The mall? We go to the mall every other week."
"Well you should be happy that I'm willing to waste my time on you," she joked.
"I love you Alisha," I said as I got out of bed.
"I love you to," she replied as she plopped down on my bed.

We arrived at the mall and basically spent the whole day there.
"Alisha. You do realize that you are the only one who remembered my birthday. Well besides my mom, dad and annoying little brother. My boyfriend didn't say happy birthday to me," I said sadly.
"At least you have me," she pointed out. "Why don't you come over to my house and you can spend the night."
I nodded and we headed towards her house.
We parked in her driveway and walked in.
Alisha opened her door and we stepped in.
"Surprise!" everyone yelled.
But what was really a surprise was my boyfriend kissing another girl.
