Edaline screamed and thrashed as a strong, heavy mass tackled her to the ground. She was still trying to free herself when a familiar accented voice murmured in her ear "It's just me, no reason to worry." Edaline went limp allowing two strong arms to carry her off the trail out of the sight of the watching humans. When she was put down Edaline whips around scanning every part of the clearing when the same accented voice tells her "No reason to worry, I've sent him back already." Turning back to face Alden, Edaline saw that sorrow and regret had edged across his face. Smiling, she told him, "It's okay, I'm okay."

"mmmhh" Alden mumbled thoughtfully "Come on back to the lost cities with you."

"Do I really have to?" Edaline sighed

"Yes, you most certainly do." Alden snapped grabbing her wrist before she could run away, "Did you know your father hailed me begging me to come find you, it was only by chance I guessed you'd be in the forbidden cities."

"Well, that was dramatic." Edaline mumbled.

"No, he was worried though probably only about his reputation, now concentrate I'm leaping you home." Alden said with a slightly softer tone. Edaline watches as Alden holds his pathfinder up to the sun creating a beam of golden light. As Alden started to pull her towards the light Edaline whispered "How much trouble will I be in"

"I suspect you will be grounded but prepare yourself for a very long lecture." Alden whispered back," Now come on time to get you home."
