THE FOLLOWING MORNING, after the blow out between the couple they slept in separate places but somehow rob tried to sweet talk his way back into the bed during the middle of the night but maxine wasn't having it. the old her would've allowed herself to be smitten by his sweet words allowing him to wake up the next morning peacefully sleeping besides her while she'd regret not standing her ground.

looking around the room, max smiles softly seeing the couples all cozy snuggling up against each other's warm embrace. she desperately wished that could've been her and rob but no he always found a way to get under her skin with his harmful words and actions and maxine constantly allows him but she was learning to ignore.

seeing everyone still peacefully asleep and the world around her so still and quiet only made it harder for the woman to get out of bed and start off her day right. tip toing over to the restroom max did her morning business — bushing her teeth, doing her skin care as she freshens up for the day ahead.

the sun was now just rising when she stepped out to make breakfast. making herself some hot herbal tea and fresh instant oatmeal with some cut up fruit maxine winced hearing robert's voice.

" fucking hell dude, you can't sneak up on a girl when she's holding a sharp object and is still very much annoyed. " the woman grumbled, her face twisted as she resumed cutting up the fruit viciously.

smacking his lips rob rolled his eyes. "look maxine i d— " rob starts before maxine interrupts holding up the knife. " no you look rob, you're really starting to piss me the fuck off and i'm trying to not flip on you but you make it so hard not to so you know what i'm gonna do? i'm gonna take my breakfast inside over to the terrace and you know what you're not gonna do, you're not going to follow me up there. " she tells off grabbing her breakfast.

" this is what i mean! god you never learn do you? " rob jeers rolling her eyes maxine laughs dryly, putting down the dishes she spun herself around to face rob she stared a the man blankly. " what is there to learn rob? i'm trying to everything of what you ask me and yes i spoke over you but you're just gonna speak nonsense making yourself look like a victim in this and i will always be the villain. it's like i've never known peace like being with you has just made me hate everything about myself, it's like you created someone i can't even look it the mirror. " maxine vents.

" and god please don't start with the crocodile tears cause i can't take it. i just want a peaceful day. " she ends.

" i don't victimize myself, where are you getting this bullshit from? god you spend way too much time with leah. like why can't you just give it a rest and hang out with someone other then leah? and if i made you feel those things maybe we aren't meant for each other, maybe you should go back to having miguel dick riding you cause you seem to enjoy that. " he deadpans.

" maybe we aren't cause you sure as hell aren't trying enough. like i'm always doing the heavy lifting in this relationship news fucking flash it's a two way streak when you're in a relationship but you clearly didn't understand that before making me your girlfriend. and of course i'm going to spend my time with leah because that's who i connect most with and don't get me started on you and aaron. first off with the miguel thing he was just being friendly, checking in on me because that's what people fucking do. " maxine expresses.

" this really isn't gonna go anywhere so i'm just gonna continue giving you your space because you clearly need to think about checking your emotions. " rob huffs.
