Minho was still at his seat finishing up his third piece of strawberry cake and second cup of iced americano with light ice.He was scrolling through his phone on social media and ended up coming across one of his old coworkers post that caught his attention.
It was a picture of him holding up an award of employee of the month. Minho frowned at that because if he was still working at the mechanic shop then that would be him instead of whoever that was. Minho doesn't even remember seeing him there.
Not really caring about it anymore he continued to scroll through his phone, giggling at certain videos that popped up or nodding his head to dance videos that he liked.
Minho had always loved dancing, it's been his passion since the age of 3. He joined a dance team when he was in highschool but after graduating he decided to focus more on getting a job and actually doing something with his life. At least that's what his parents wanted.
Speaking of parents, Minho's mom and dad live in Busan and they're both working in a business with plenty of money. They were really strict on Minho about school, finance, grades, drugs, money and everything of that sort. They believed that he had to be the ultimate son and once he turned 18 and graduated from high school, they had him move out. Luckily for the first year they provided Minho with everything and bought him a house which is the one he's in today. The two jobs that he'd had were what helped keep him under that roof, but now he's broke and his rent is due in 2 weeks.
"You seem deep in thought, you ok?" Minho shot his head up at the voice. He didn't even notice that they were there because he was too busy thinking about his parents.
"Yeah I'm fine, just thinking about my parents."
"Oh are they ok?"
"Yeah I just haven't seen them in a while and I kind of miss them."
"Aw well how about I cheer you up with some cake?"
"Sure, thanks uh.."
"Minju!"
Minho nodded and then took a bite out of the yellow cake. He wasn't sure what kind it was but he didn't want to turn down the girl after she came all the way over to give it to him.
Surprisingly it was good. Minho hummed in approval and his eye widened as he looked at the waitress.
"Wow, this is amazing!" Minho said digging his fork in for another piece.
Minju clapped her hands together. "I know right!"
"What's the flavor?" Minho had to know.
"It's Vanilla Bean mixed with lemon, one of my best cakes!" She looked up proudly with her hands on her hips.
"I never heard of that mix before, usually I just get the strawberry one made by Jisung." The blonde does make it the best.
"Yeah he's in charge of the cakes but I wanted to make my own cake, he thinks he's the only one who's good at it but he's not." Minju crossed her arms totally not liking the fact that Jisung was brought up.
Minho couldn't agree with her on that, because he definitely is good at making cakes since he's the one in charge of them. He's not gonna say that though, don't wanna make her angry.
"You know I get tired of making muffins, everyone always wants cakes, or donuts." The Brown haired girl sat in the booth across from Minho staring right at him. "You wanna try one of my muffins?" She was literally pleading Minho to try one and he didn't mind at all. So he nodded and she so smiled brightly.
"Aww you're so sweet! I'll make you some from scratch so you can take them home!" The girl jumped up from the booth. One of her customers called out to her and she sighed in disappointment. "Welp I have to go back to work now, unfortunately. I'll see you later Minnie!" She rubbed her hand down his shoulder as she left.
