Cheese Cake ~Minsung~

Minho and Jisung were on their walk. They only had 30 minutes until the younger had to be back from his break.

The two weren't going anywhere in particular, just going around down to the end of the road and back.

It was a comfortable silence as they walked the sidewalk. The only sound being from cars driving by, birds chirping, the wind tickling the trees and people chatting as they pass by.

Minho would sneak glances at the blonde to see if he felt uncomfortable or anything, but he seemed to be enjoying the breeze as a small smile was on his face.

Even though he liked the silence, he still wanted to talk to the boy. He just didn't know what about. Realization hit him that he really doesn't know much about the younger. Good thing they'll be hanging out this weekend.

He just has to make it through working at that gas station tomorrow and then Jisung is all his the day after. Speaking of the gas station, Minho thought it'd be a good time to tell the shorter about the news.

"So, I got a new job." Jisung stopped in his tracks and looked up at Minho in shock.

"Omg really?" He asked and Minho nodded.

"Yeah, one of Chans friends hooked me up."

"Where at?" Jisung asked as the two began walking again.

"The Gas Station." Jisung raised in eyebrow at that but didn't judge. He figured the older would work somewhere like with buildings or cars just like his last job.

"I know it's something I wouldn't do, trust me I didn't want to work there." Minho chuckled shaking his head. He could tell Jisung was curious as to why he picked that job.

"It's ok hyung. I'm happy for you!" Jisung showcased his smile and it made Minho smile back. Maybe this new job won't be so bad after all.

15 minutes had passed by and the two decided to get some ice cream on the way back. Minho had to stop the younger from paying and Jisung blushed at how sweet he was.

Minho told him more about the job and that he starts tomorrow. They also discussed what they think Chan and Hyunjin were doing on their 'so called date.'

Jisung already knew how Hyunjin felt towards the blonde. He wouldn't stop talking about how handsome he is at work and all Jisung could do is agree with his friend and feed into his delusions.

Minho definitely exposed Chan to the boy and told him about how he's literally making a song for the black haired boy. Jisung couldn't help but giggle. If Hyunjin were to find out oh he definitely would talk about it all day at work.

Both of them were too busy gossiping about their friends that they didn't notice how their hands were brushing against each other.

They looked down at their hands and make eye contact before a tint of red covered both faces as they looked away.

Minho scratched the back of his head with the same hand that touched Jisungs. The other just kept enjoying his ice cream but not facing the blue haired.

Silence seems to always find its way to the two but luckily they were back at the Cheesecake Factory just in time for Jisung to get back to work.

Jisung was about to walk in but noticed that Minho didn't follow after. "Are you not coming in hyung?" He turned to look the older in his eyes for the first time after their hands met from before.

Minho shook his head. "I'm gonna head home and sort out some stuff, maybe take a nap." He said truthfully because I was actually pretty tired from the walk and all.

The blonde nodded but Minho was able to notice the slight frown and change of mood he had. Missing the contact of the boy he reached his hand out and grabbed ahold of Jisungs hand.

He was taken back a bit by the sudden touch, but didn't brush the taller off. Instead he gave him his full attention.

"Don't worry, I'll be back in time to walk you home." Minho rubbed his thumb against the back of his hand and Jisung tried to hide his blush.

Smiling at the older he nodded and said "I'll be waiting for you, get some rest." Minho returned the smile and let go of Jisung's hand so he could go back inside to get ready for his next shift.

They waved at each other before Minho started walking back home. His house wasn't too far from the Factory, but still quite a walk. He didn't mind though because he needed to exercise his legs some. It's been a while since he last worked out anyway. Usually he goes with Chan after they were done with work, but ever since he was fired he hasn't had the motivation to go again.

Once he got home he was met with Soonie at the door.

"Meow"

"Well hello to you too Soonie." Minho reached down and pet his cat.

"Meow"

"Where are Doongie and Dori?" He looked around trying to find them while Soonie followed behind. "Oh they're sleeping." He found both cats sleeping curled up together. He patted their heads before heading to the kitchen to brag the car food and refilling each bowl with both food and water, then putting the food back in the cabinet.

"You wanna come with me to my room?" He asked Soonie as he could tell was still following him.

"Meow!"

"I take that as a yes!" Minho giggled and went to him room. He landed on his bed and took a deep breath that he didn't know he was holding. Soonie came and lay beside him and licked his nose.

"I wonder if Jisung likes cats?" He thought of the younger and tried to figure out what they could do with their time together this weekend. He had 3 days with the blonde and didn't know any idea what so ever.

Maybe he take him out to an arcade and then grab some lunch before coming back his place. Wait...

"Would he want to come back to my house?"

Shaking his head from his thoughts he pulled out his phone and scroll through instagram in hopes of getting ideas.

Once again he came across that same account of that guy that works at the mechanic shop. Minho frowned when he saw him wearing his old apron that he earned for being the best employee. He wished there was a dislike button so he could press it with force.

He continued to keep scrolling and watching reels laughing here and there at them. Even some dance videos he watched too, but he could feel himself get tired and bored.

Thinking back to his friend, he decided to tease him a bit before taking his nap.

Minho laughed out loud at Chan's response and then let out a big yawn. He placed his phone on the charger and set an alarm to wake up a hour before Jisung gets off so he can meet up with him to walk the younger home.

With Soonie still being curled up beside him sleeping, he grabbed the cat and hugged Soonie to his chest as he too entered dreamland.
