Isabella Saint POV

The next night, as I got ready for our date, a wave of anxiety hit me. The night before had been intense, both physically and emotionally. Harlow and I had come to the conclusion that we wanted to work on us, maybe even get back together eventually.

But tonight felt different—this was the first time I was actually taking Harlow out on a real date. It felt like a huge step, and I couldn't help but feel nervous. I wanted everything to be perfect, for real this time. This wasn't just another hookup—it was the beginning of something more.

I glanced at myself in the car's mirror as I waited for Harlow outside her building. Soon enough, I saw her walking out, and I couldn't help but smirk when I saw her outfit.

She had texted me earlier, asking how she should dress. I'd told her to dress for dancing and comfort, and of course, Harlow showed up in her usual: slim-fitting chino slacks, a button-down, and chukka boots.

Her woody scent filled the car as she settled in. "What's up," Harlow said casually, buckling her seatbelt and immediately typing on her phone. After a few seconds, she glanced up, realizing I hadn't started driving yet.

She raised an eyebrow, shrugging. "What?"

"Gimme kiss," I told her directly.

Harlow smirked, leaning over to peck my lips before pulling back, but I wasn't done. I grabbed her by the neck, pulling her back to me. I could feel her warm breath on my skin.

Harlow smiled a little at that.

"Give. Me. A. Kiss," I repeated, pausing between each word.

Harlow bit her lip, eyes darting down to mine before finally pressing her lips against mine. She gave me a few pecks before she ran her tongue across my lips. I opened my mouth for her and our tongues begin to dance.

We kissed for a while, the moment heating up, until a moan slipped from my lips. That's when I remembered we had places to be. Reluctantly, I pulled back and grinned, finally putting the car in drive.

It took us about 30 minutes to reach the other side of the city, where our date would be tonight. I pulled into a parking spot behind an old, run-down building that looked like it had seen better days. Harlow gave me a questioning look, but I just smiled before hopping out of the car and rushing around to open her door.

We walked up a steep, cracked walkway with weeds poking through the concrete. As we approached the front of the small, unassuming building, Harlow raised an eyebrow.

"You're not going to kill me, are you?" she asked, half-joking.

"Nah, if I wanted to do that, I would've done it one of the nights you met me at a hotel," I shot back, smirking.

"Oh, right," Harlow laughed, shoving her hands into her pockets as we kept walking.

When we finally reached the front door, Harlow frowned a little as I opened it for her. She hesitated, clearly unsure about where I'd brought her, but I just smiled, motioning for her to go inside.

"Trust me," I said softly.

"What is this place?" Harlow asks in surprise.

"You're gonna see," I grin wide at her bopping my head to the music as we got closer to the sound.

"Isabella," a deep voice calls as we got closer.

"Uncle Tony," my smile grows as I go to hug the older man. I notice Harlow looking back and forth between us.
