"What a clever move." (Y/N) thoughtfully places a finger on her chin as she holds her palm against the translucent barricade.

The veil was a simple trap- specifically one where any sorcerer could enter, yet at the same time not leave until the barrier was cast down.

She yawns and stretches her back, twirling on her heels to walk over to Naoya's unconscious body.

"If I want to leave, I'm gonna have to let you live, huh?" (Y/N) pouted lightly as she stared down at the man bleeding out before her.

Her eyes inspected his body, taking quick note of how the rise and fall of his chest was barely noticeable, a sign that he had little time left.

"I hope Maki-chan forgives me.." The girl grumbles as she drops to one knee, unwilling as she places a hand over the bloody wound.

(Y/N) didn't flinch nor grimace as the blood began to pour over her hand, merely focusing on the circulation of her cursed energy.

How did it go again? She knit her eyebrows together in a mixture of frustration and concentration, attempting to apply her reverse cursed technique on the man.

It was evident (Y/N) had thought through with the consequences of cutting the Zen'in clan's heir's limb off.

As (Y/N)'s body began to remember the output of reverse cursed technique, she carefully thought about the problems she would have to deal with if she failed the procedure.

The most troublesome one would be the Zen'in clan being after her ass, as if they already didn't hate her enough.

For sure, they would send an actual assassin- not their beloved misogynistic heir.

What would have worried her the most was Maki's reaction.

Would she be happy that Naoya, someone not just from the Zen'in clan but also her assaulter and heir, was killed by her?

Or upset, even angry that she had further gotten on the Zen'in clan's bad side?

Maybe, even angry that she wasn't the one to kill Naoya..?

(Y/N) was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard a strained cough sound from below her, huffing in annoyance when she felt blood splatter onto her face.

Without much thought she looked down to find that Naoya's arm had regenerated. Due to her having been distracted with her own thoughts, she had healed him more than intended.

"Naoya." (Y/N) called out, her tone oddly calm and maintained for someone of her character.

Said man continued coughing and choking, struggling to spit out the last few mouthfuls of blood before his gaze shot up to glare at her weakly.

"You think you can get away with this? The Zen'in clan will punish you, banish you from the jujutsu society. I will make sure of that." Naoya said with a weak, yet snarky tone, his hatred for (Y/N) genuine from the bottom of his heart.

"Why are you coughing up blood?" (Y/N) ignores him without a problem, and pick him up by the back of his collar.

As soon as Naoya was back on his feet, he weakly attempted to swing a punch at the girl before him, only for her to swiftly dodge, causing him to stumble lightly.

"Have you not learned your lesson?" (Y/N) sighed before delivering a swift kick to his stomach, sending him shuffling back into a wall.

Naoya grunted and opened his eyes, about to pounce back until he realized he was trapped- (Y/N) having her foot pressed against his chest, holding him down.
