A group of footsteps were heard walking through a dense forest pathway, the mud and grime created by the rain squishing underneath their feet, until they ultimately made their way through the underbrush and found themselves standing in front of the Eishuu Juvenile Detention Center shown at the end of the last chapter. Stretching, Tai was seen with Noiya and Sui, as the white-haired rider was back in his signature school uniform that he wore when he first applied to Jujutsu Tech. The dirt and tears was now cleaned out of the outfit, making it good as new, while Noiya and Sui wore the same outfits they had on the previous week when they fought DeepMariner.
Glancing around at the detention center, Noiya held an annoyed expression on her face as she stood with her teammates.
Noiya: "Tch, I still don't understand the point of us being here. We just finished fighting that Special Grade last week. Why the hell are we back for another mission?"
Sui: "Well, apparently, this time it's not an actual curse, but a curse womb. So, there's a slight difference."
Noiya: "All the same bullshit to me. Who the fuck even cares? They're just curses..."
Tai: "..."
While Noiya and Sui talked about the mission that they were apparently forced into, Tai was seen with a contemplative expression on his face, as he stared down at the Gotchardriver in his hand for a moment before sighing and placing it inside of the inner pocket of his jacket. Glancing over at his ally, a worried expression coated Sui's face as he studied Tai.
However, just as he began to open his mouth to speak to Tai, more footsteps were heard approaching the group, causing them to turn and reveal the other sorcerers that were joining them. Narrowing her eyes at the older man who was organizing this entire thing, Noiya clicked her teeth in annoyance and crossed her arms, obviously not pleased with the idea of a team-up.
Noiya: "So, first you're late to the meeting place that you yourself stressed for us to arrive at on time, and now you spring a sudden joint mission on us?"
"Not very professional if you ask me, Ijichi."

Flinching at Noiya's harsh remarks, Ijichi sighed and pushed up his glasses as he moved his arm in a presenting manner to bring the focus to the other two sorcerers with him.
Ijichi: "Apologies for the late notice of the joint mission, Muta-san."
Noiya: "Noiya-san."
Ijichi: "Y-Yes...Noiya-san. I-In any case, the point is that a mission of this magnitude requires that your two teams join together, to ensure less casualties. Which is why I've brought the other first years from Gojo-san's squad."
