I saved Alex's number to my contacts, I just had to confirm that it was him.

Around 50 minutes of staring at my ceiling later, my phone buzzed. It was Alex!!

I smiled and opened the message.

heyy!! do you wanna meet
up at school tomorrow??

ya sure
where??

ummm by the lockers
maybe?? my locker
number is 143

okk!! I'll meet u there
tomorrow before class

ok!!

I smiled at the messages, this was the first time in a while that I was
actually looking forward to school!!

(Alex's POV)

I put my phone down and looked over at Eli. They knew how fast I got crushes and how they -most of the time- broke my heart.

"What?" I said. "Oh nothing, you just looked really happy looking at your phone." "Um, it was nothing.." Gosh I'm such a bad liar.. "Uh huh.. sure. Anyways, what do you wanna do now?"

I thought for a moment before suggesting. "How about we try and draw each other!" I said enthusiastically. "But I suck at drawing!" Eli whined. "No you don't, I'll get the stuff."
