A month later...

Parker and Anne were having lunch at Nobu in Malibu, Parker had flown in a day ago. They are supposed to be leaving in two weeks for the SXSW festival in Austin. Anne had invited Parker to stay with her for the time being stating that she couldn't be away from her for that long. Parker being the simp that she was just couldn't refuse the offer.

In fact she had been thinking about talking to Anne about moving in together. It was going to be complicated because there was kids involved and they had a schedule with their father but Parker knew they were gonna make it work. She was obviously nervous about it though because she knew that the kids came first for Anne and she also didn't want the girl to think think were rushing into things.

"Babe?" Anne had been staring at the girl.

"Huh? Sorry."

"I lost you there for a moment. What's got you thinking?"

Parker shook her head. "It's nothing."

"Babe you know you can talk to me about anything" Anne said grabbing the girls hand and holding it.

"It's just that I've been thinking about moving in together. And I know that it would be a little complicated because of the boys but- I- you know what forget about it we can talk about it a different time."

"Actually it's nice that you brought it up because I've been thinking about it too. I brought it up to my ex actually when I dropped off the boys. I told him that there could be a possibility that we would move to New York. I have sole custody so you know that his opinion wouldn't really matter but he said that he would figure something out."

"If it's easier for you I could move here? I mean I would have to figure something out with my coach but if not then I could just fly back for the season."

"No, I don't want that. You wouldn't be living with us for those 9 months you would be away. And anyway I've been wanting a change of scenery for us."

"Well you know I've got enough rooms. You wouldn't have to pay rent or anything because I own my apartment."

Anne smiled. She felt like a brand new person with Parker and this just felt like she was living a fairytale. "I mean I think eventually we will have to upgrade to a bigger place when we get to the baby talk but the boys loved your house so I'm sure they will be happy living there."

"We should talk about that when we get home actually."

And so the girls dropped the moving in conversation since they basically figured out a plan. They were gonna talk to the boys when they came back from their dads the next day. Anne knew that the boys wouldn't be opposed to it because they loved experiencing New York with Parker a month ago.

Once they finished their lunch they headed to the grocery store to stock up on some things for the week. Of course that couldn't happen without some how the paps finding out and capturing them walking into the store. "Is there anything in particular you'd like to have at the house" Anne asked.

"Hm, no not really. Actually, maybe some snacks for a movie later."

Grocery shopping was the one thing Anne loved doing the most since becoming famous, it brought her normalcy. She didn't like to think about the past but her ex never did anything that she liked to do so the fact that Parker was there with her made her happy. It was weird but to her it was everything.

The next day, Parker woke up to an empty left side of the bed. The bed wasn't warm so she knew Anne had been up for a while which was weird because when they were home alone Anne never woke up early. So once Parker brushed her teeth, washed her face, and had changed she walked down the stairs. Anne was sitting on the kitchen island with a cup of coffee in one hand and her phone in the other.
