RATHORE MANSION

Ruhaan returned to his family's estate late night, his mood as dark as the sky. The sprawling mansion was quiet, save for the few guards stationed at key points.

His brothers were waiting for him in the private lounge, where they often discussed business matters and strategic moves.

Vihaan, the eldest, sat on one of the leather armchairs, his expression calm but calculating. Veer, the middle brother, leaned casually against the bar, a glass of whiskey in his hand. Neer, the youngest, stood by the large window, his arms crossed and a frown creasing his forehead.

They had all heard about the negotiations at the Taj Lake Palace and were eager for Ruhaan's report.

As Ruhaan walked in, the tension in the room shifted. His frustration was visible in his stiff posture and tight jaw. He poured himself a drink without saying a word and downed it in one go before setting the glass down with a sharp thud.

Neer was the first to break the silence, his voice sharp and direct. "So, what happened? We heard things didn't exactly go according to plan."

Ruhaan's eyes flicked toward his youngest brother, his expression hardening. "The deal is done," he said curtly, "but not on my terms."

Veer raised an eyebrow. "Not on your terms? That's not like you. What went wrong?"

Ruhaan clenched his fists, feeling the heat of their scrutiny. "Miksha Suryavanshi happened."

At the mention of her name, the room went still. Vihaan sat up straighter, his eyes narrowing slightly, Neer's frown deepened, and Veer's casual demeanor faltered.

Vihaan, ever the composed leader, spoke calmly but firmly. "Miksha? I thought she was a surgeon, nothing more. How did she manage to interfere in our deal with the Romans?"

Ruhaan laughed bitterly. "That's what I thought too. Turns out she's much more than just a surgeon. She's the CEO of the Suryavanshi Empire-the same empire that has been expanding aggressively into sectors we've had our eyes on. She walked into that meeting like she owned the room, and by the end of it, Marcus Roman was practically eating out of her hand."

Vihaan's eyes flashed with disbelief. "You're saying she took control of the deal? Just like that?"

Ruhaan's jaw clenched. "Yes. She blindsided me and negotiated terms that put her in a powerful position. And Damian-Marcus's son-was all over her, practically begging to be in her good graces."

Veer shook his head, a smirk playing on his lips. "You let some woman outmaneuver you? That's a first."

Ruhaan's glare was deadly. "It's not just any woman. She's playing a game none of us saw coming. She's not only powerful but cunning. And Damian's obsession with her only made it worse."

Neer pushed off the wall and stepped forward, his voice low and concerned. "But why are you so obsessed with her, Bhai? You sound more frustrated about her than the deal itself. Is this personal now?"

Ruhaan shot him a look of warning. "You don't get it. She humiliated me in front of the Romans, made me look like a fool. She's dangerous, and she's in our way. We can't afford to let her keep gaining ground. If we don't stop her now, she'll become a threat we can't control."

Vihaan, who had been silently observing, finally spoke, his tone cold and authoritative. "So, what's your plan? If she's already in control of the deal, we need to adjust our strategy. We can't afford to let personal vendettas cloud our judgment, Ruhaan."
