UDAIPUR AIRPORT
The rest of her team awaited her arrival. Miksha felt a sense of urgency now, more than ever. This wasn’t just about business anymore—this was personal. Ruhaan’s obsession with her had taken a dark turn, and she knew she couldn’t afford any missteps.
As she stepped onto her private jet, her mind replayed their heated exchange. The way his grip had tightened on her wrist, the way his voice had lowered with menace. But beneath his rage, there was something else—a tension she couldn’t quite place. It was dangerous, intoxicating even, but Miksha wasn’t one to be swayed easily.
Her phone buzzed again, another message from her sister in law Snehal "Dad’s waiting for you. He’s not happy."
She very well know how her sister in law, a hacker by profession, get her number.
Miksha exhaled slowly. Of course, her father had caught wind of everything. His disapproval was something she was used to, but this time, it felt heavier.
The Suryavanshi family prided itself on control, and her father wouldn’t be pleased with how public things had become.
As Miksha stepped onto her private jet, the cool night breeze swept across her face, momentarily calming her racing thoughts. The confrontation with Ruhaan Rathore still lingered in her mind, an unsettling mix of anger and something she couldn’t quite place. She took a deep breath, straightening her posture, and forced herself to focus. This wasn’t the time to get distracted by him.
Inside the luxurious cabin, her brother RUPENDRA SINGH SURYAVANSHI was waiting, seated at the head of the long, sleek table, his expression unreadable. Dressed impeccably in a dark suit, his piercing eyes locked onto hers the moment she entered. She was known he would come after confronting the news.
"Bhaiya"she greeted him coolly, taking the seat across from him.
"Miksha" he responded, his tone laced with a subtle hint of warning. "I heard about the Roman deal. And about Rathore." He leaned back in his chair, studying her. "You’ve been busy."
Miksha maintained her calm demeanor, though she knew what was coming. Rupendra had always been protective of her, sometimes more than necessary, but he respected her as an equal in the business world. Plus her relationship with her brother is not that good being 5 year elder than her, there is always a distance between them, she fears him.
"The deal went through as planned," she said firmly. "Rathore wasn’t expecting me to step in, but I did what had to be done."
Rupendra’s expression darkened slightly. "I don’t care about the deal. What concerns me is the attention you’ve drawn to yourself. The Rathores are not people to be underestimated, especially Ruhaan. He’s dangerous, and you’ve made him your enemy."
Miksha’s eyes narrowed. "I know exactly who he is, bhaiya. And I can handle him."
Her brother leaned forward, his voice lowering to a more serious tone. "You don’t understand, Miksha. Ruhaan isn’t like the other men you’ve dealt with. He doesn’t just play to win—he plays to destroy. And now you’re in his sights."
Miksha felt a flicker of frustration but kept her face composed. "I’ve dealt with men like him before. He won’t break me."
"Men like him?" Rupendra scoffed, shaking his head. "No, Miksha. Men like him are different. They are obsessive, possessive . The kind that will stop at nothing until they’ve gotten what they want. And if you don’t understand that, you’re underestimating the situation."
