Chapter 23

Y/n's pov:

I'm walking back home after office. Mr.Min and jungkook were present in today's meeting.i tried my best to ignore him but i was swept away by his persistence,i couldn't say no to those eyes and my heart melted for him.

I sighed and turned back,i saw the same man with mask from yesterday following me in distance.i cursed myself' luna was right ',i took long steps and hurried to home.i saw him stopping in track as i entered the apartment.

I huffed and closed the door behind,luna was sitting on the couch still in her office attire.i smiled at her and walked to my room.after freshen up i came to join her for dinner.luna came with the food and sat across me.jimin entered as we were eating and joined us.we talked a little and finished our food. I said good night to them and walked to my room.

Laying down in bed,i closed my eyes listening to songs.a knock on my window got me rolling on the bed. i sighed and walked to the window but didn't open it.

Jk:y/n,i want to talk to you.

Y/n:(stayed silent)

Jk:are you there?

Y/n: go away(walked to my bed)

Jk:(knocked again)

Y/n:(increased the volume)

Jk:y-

Y/n:(jolt up on bed as his words cut off by gun shot sound)JUNGKOOK!(opened the window and saw him on the floor)

I jumped out and shook him furiously as the gun shot ecoed in my ears.i couldn't lift him fully so,i pulled him up and walked to the front door,dragging him along. I kicked open the door and walked inside. luna was sleeping in the couch, she was startled, rushed to me and supported jungkook to stand.we came inside my room and made him lay on bed.

Luna:what happened?(breathing heavily)

Y/n: I don't know,....h-he was knocking on my window and a shot rang.

Luna: he's not bleeding tho.

Y/n: he must have fainted due to shock then,(sigh)thank god!

Luna: (nods)

Y/n: i saw the same mask man on my way back home today.could it be...

Luna:he didn't attacked us,but kept strolling around our home many times,it can be(nods)

Y/n:(sigh and holds head sitting on bed)

Luna: take care of him for now,let's talk in the morning(patted my back)

I nod and pulled up the covers over him and laid beside him.i ruffled his hair claming myself down and drifted to sleep.

Author's pov:

Luna came out locking the door behind and walked to her room.she saw jimin sleeping on her bed and walked to him. she sat beside him and stared at him for a moment.she moved closer to him and touched his cheek and moved her hand to his ear slowly.she noticed him shiver a little under her touch,she smirked and pulled his ear harshly.jimin sat up in bed screaming in pain.she twisted his ear and stood up from bed.he followed her lead and stood up too.she walked to the door and paused infront before shoving him to the wall.he groaned and looked at her pouting a little rubbing his ears.

Luna:(crossed her hands infront and tilt her head to side)

Jimin:(fidge his fingers looking down)

Luna: wae?

Jimin:mwo?

Luna:you know me,jimin.don't lie.

Jimin: Arasseo....(walked to the bed)

Luna:(rolled her eyes and follows him)

Jimin:how did you know?(raised his eyebrows)

Luna: coz I'm a cop?(shrugs)

Jimin:tch.

(Flashback)

Jimin: i have a plan!

Jk: what is it?

Jimin: what if i kidnap luna?

Jk:(scoffed)Jugeullae?

Jimin:(scratched his nape)aniya... I'll act like kidnapping her and you'll come to save her...

Jk:and she'll fall in love with me?

Jimin:(smacked his head)she's.my girlfriend,crackhead(huffed)y/n will give you a chance after knowing you saved her sister,neh?

Jk:(shook his head)

Jimin:yah..

Jk:she won't buy this bullshit.

Jimin: got a trick up your sleeve?

Jk:(grins and winked)

(Present)

Luna:(laughs)

Jimin: tch(furrows) now tell me how did you find this out?

Luna: actually,i wasn't expecting you to be that man with black mask(sat beside him)but your cover's blown! you pretend to be asleep,because you weren't home when i escorted him to y/n's room and he's not bleeding too.if he dodged the bullet,how he fainted? it's only possible if it's a missed shot but it's impossible for you to sleep when all this commotions going on,you nosy manx (pinched his nose laughing)so,1+1 it clicks!

Jimin:woah!you are a genius,my little minx (pinched her cheeks smiling)

Luna:(pulled his ear again) you'll pay for hiding this from me.

Jimin:sorry,sorry,sorryyyy...

Luna:kidnap?huh?(twisted his ear)

Jimin:ahhh...mian..mian(wiggled)

Luna:you do as i say,got it?(smirk)

Jimin:(rubbed his ear nodding)
