2} What is this Life?

'So... what you're trying to say is that you fell here... from another world?'

"Huh? What's with that Genshin dialogue? And... I'm alive!??? What how- I- the truck... It exploded... Wait I feel smaller... Where even am I??"

You opened your eyes to look around you. You have no clue what's happening. You were in some random room, a BIG room which looked like it was designed for a child, but it was also too empty for that. You could see a  stack full of books lying on the desk, there weren't any soft toys or anything. You stood up from the bed.

'Did the accident cause me to shrink? I only feel light pain on my cheeks and my back. Have I healed already? How long was I out for? This place looks like someone's room, not a hospital.' You thought as you made your way to the study desk.

You read the name on the book.

"L/N Y/N.
Junior K.G.
Age: 3
Alphabet book"

You were surprised.
'What even is this?? I had never gone to kindergarten in my life?? Why is my age written here?? And what do you mean 3 years old?? Huh...?'
Everything was such a mess that you didn't even realise it. You looked at your hands, they were all soft and chubby. Everything around you was a mess. You opened the book and found a photograph of kindergarteners and a teacher with them. You immediately recognised yourself in the picture. You went over to the mirror you had seen earlier and observed yourself.

"I am me, but this isn't me.." you were back in your 3 year old self. No clue why. There was a bandaid wrapped on your cheek.

Soon a man walked through the door and engulfed you in a hug.
"I'm sorry Y/N" he said.
This was the first time ever someone other than my brother has apologized.

"Don't worry, your mom is in jail now. I had warned her so many times to not do anything in public. Now because of her my reputation as a Pro Hero is going to get affected. So I decided to divorce her. Let's get you some breakfast now" the man said as he walked towards the kitchen.

"I can't delay my hero duty any longer. It's as they say, the longer the stay, more the pay. It's quite disappointing that you are a late quirk bloomer like me, I was hoping to teach you how to rake over my hero agency early on. I'll be busy filing my divorce documents today. One of my side-kicks would come and give you your lunch. You can stay home and do whatever kids your age do." The dad said as he gave you your breakfast and left, locking the door from outside, pretty sure it can still get opened from the inside.

He sure is hell of a yapper. You then recollected the words he used and you started eating your breakfast, which literally was milk straight out of the fridge with cornflakes.

After eating the cold breakfast, you turn on the TV and sit on the couch. By default, the TV opened at the news channel.
