"Your an asshole!"
"IT'S AN emergency only for a minute!" Max tried to persuade the skeleton singer, while Connie felt uncomfortable in the crowd. He turned around dramatically, holding the mic to his lips, as the singers felt annoyed. "Will everybody listen up, please?" Connie was giving him his full attention, telling the people around her to shut up. The witches were in the middle of the room, and once they heard Max's voice, they definitely gave him their full attention, while Allison and Dani were still trying to get Dani's parents to listen.
"Your kids are in danger." Connie sighed, he probably should've started off with something else. A woman dressed like a cowgirl pushed to the front of the crowd to talk to him. "What do you mean?" She asked. "Three hundred years ago the Sanderson sisters bewitched people. And now they've returned from their grave." Laughter was heard. Connie had enough of this. The people around her gave her a look as she put the book on the stage, and jumped on. Max watched her as she came up next to him. The skeleton singer looked towards Connie.
"What now, sweet thing?" He asked making her give him the finger. "Hey man this isn't a joke," Max instantly said while he grabbed onto the main singer's jacket. Connie took the mic from Max, feeling a little scared of how everyone was watching her. In the crowd, her parents saw her on the stage, with a concerned look. Who was that boy she was with? They both thought.
"He's not lying!" She said into the mic.
"Just listen, please. we're trying to help!" Max nodded as he took the mic from her. "I know this sounds dumb, but they're here tonight. They're right over there!" He said while he pointed to their spot. Connie's breathing started to get uneasy as she saw the sisters. She instantly grabbed onto the bottom of Max's jacket. Winifred shielded the light from her eyes, while she started to move to the front of the stage slowly.
"Thank you for that introduction, Max and Constance. For that Marvelous introduction."" She continued, while moving her hand to her face. People in the crowd laughed. "I put a spell on you!" She started to sing. "And now your mine," she said while pointing at the people by her. "You can't stop the things that I do!" Connie looked up at Max, giving him a weird look.
"I ain't lying!" She sang as she moved her head to the right, the people on the stage started to play some music for her. "Good joke guys! Happy Halloween," the singer said taking the mic from Max. "No I'm not finished! Max tried to argue. The singer and Max got into it a bit as the singer pushed Max away from him.
"Max!" Connie instantly yelled.
She turned to look at the older man. "Your an asshole." She said while pushing him back a bit.
As Connie was helping Max stand up, the witches were near them. Without thinking, Max pulled onto Connie's arm and ran to the crowd.
"Constance! What in the world was that?" She heard her mom ask. Connie turned to look at Max as he dropped his hand from her arm, and scratched his neck. "Mom! Dad! No time to exclaim, just don't listen!" Enid looked worried.
"It's just a bit, is it?" She asked.
Her dad looked at Max. "I thought you didn't have a boyfriend?'' Connie leaned her head back and Max's eyes winded. At this moment, Dani, Allison came forward.
"Mom! Stop, please listen to me." Connie begged.
"Look it's Halloween, a prank. Let's enjoy the music!" Connie's mom nodded as they both started to dance along. Connie was shouting no as Dani, Max, Allison and herself were backing away. Max made sure to pull Connie closer to him, and as he did so he held onto her hand tightly.
"Binx!" Dani yelled, making the cat join them.
Before they could leave the room, Billy had joined them. They all screamed, as Billy tried to get a hold on Max, in an instant Max ducked. Pushing him, they all left. Max ran into his parents. "Mom, dad, thank god." He panted while holding onto both of their shoulders. Just like Constance's parents, they were enjoying the music.
"Hey, Max great show!"
Connie rolled her eyes as all the kids told them to cover their ears. Connie was having a harder time since she was holding onto the book. Their moment of standing was cut short as Billy found them. Connie was the first one to run, as everyone followed her.
"I wished we had the camera," Max's mom said with a smile watching her kids and their friends run away from guy "in the zombie costume."
Not wanting to get caught by Billy, and not wanting to get away from the group, Max was running behind Connie, keeping his hands on her.
Once they made it out of the party, Connie kept looking behind her, worried Billy was on their tail. "Binx, come on!" Dani yelled as they made their way into an alleyway. Man it was a bad night.
