The doorbell rang, followed by a firm knock that jolted (Y/N) from his seat. He hurried to the door and swung it open, revealing a sizable crate addressed to him. With eagerness, he hefted the bulky package inside and set it down on the floor. Grabbing his crowbar, he pried it open.
Voila, his new drone! Ready to assist with household tasks while he worked. He quickly dressed her in a stunning wig and outfit that she came with before powering her on. After a brief moment, she booted up, her yellow eyes blinking to life.
She smiles at him. "[GREETING] Hello, master."
(Y/N) felt a flicker of disappointment; she must have gotten messed up during her journey. It was unfortunate, but he could always fix her up later.
"Hello-" He paused to glance at a sheet of paper. "...Cyn! How are you feeling?"
She attempted to stand but paused to correct her tilted head. "[ANALYSIS] I am operational, but I require maintenance to perform my duties effectively."
(Y/N) hrimaces. He had invested a lot in her and had little left for extra expenses beyond bills. "...Maybe later. How about I show you around the house?"

Cyn's arms trembled as she carefully set a dinner plate on the table. It slipped from her fingers and clattered onto the hardwood; thankfully, it didn't break. Her body whirred as she took a few unsteady steps back, surveying her work. It could have been better, but she felt a sense of pride.
"[SATISFIED SMILE]"
Suddenly, the sound of jingling keys caught her attention. She rushed to the door and stood before it as it opened. She bows, having to hold her head to make herself appear as presentable as possible.
"[GREETING] Hello again, master. [QUERY] How was work?"
(Y/N) looks at her with tired eyes and a small smile. "Rough, but I managed to meet the deadline. How's dinner?"
Cyn's expression faltered, and she looked down. "[NERVOUS] I set the table...but dinner isn't done yet."
His smile dims for a moment before quickly returning. "That's alright, I can wait." Despite his reassurance, he could sense her lingering guilt.
It was like this a lot since she got here. He wanted to fix her, but the costs were steep. He worked hard for her sake, and he could tell she felt the same pressure to perform.
He reaches out and gently brushes one of her locks, hoping to comfort her. It works; she leans into his touch, letting out a soft coo. The sight warmed his heart. "Thank you, Cyn."
At last, she looks up at him, confusion in her eyes. "[CONFUSED] But I haven't completed my task..."
"It's the effort you put in for me, even with your disability. I appreciate that."
A blush crept on her visor and she tries to hide behind her hair, which only made him smile more.
"How about we both make dinner together?"
Cyn opened her mouth to protest but was silenced by a finger. "After we're done, I'll brush your hair."
Her expression lit up, her smile growing as wide as his. "Okee."
