It's been seven months since the complete and unconditional surrender of Sakura's Euralian allies, Iron Blood, Sardegna Empire, and Vachya Dominion. Eagle Union, Royal Navy, Iris Libre, and Northern Parliament have emerged victorious in the Euralian theatre. However, the war continues in the Pindocific, where Sakura Empire now fights mainly against Eagle Union. Despite its dire situation, Sakura Empire remains defiant, holding onto control of Okimawa Island, a strategic location on the route to its main territory.
Zuikaku and her sister Shoukaku are stationed at the defense line, facing the ongoing invasion by Eagle Union. The atmosphere is grim, with many shipgirls yearning for surrender but facing resistance from the Sakura Empire High Command.
In this alternate reality, Azur Lane does not have a single overall commander. Instead, three IJN shipgirls, namely IJN Akagi, IJN Amagi, and IJN Nagato, hold the positions of High Commanders of the Sakura Empire.
In this reality, humans do not exist, and the inhabitants of Earth are manjuus.

Zuikaku and her sister Shoukaku are perched on a hilltop, surveying the surroundings. The sounds of explosions and gunfire fill the air as Eagle Union forces continue their assault on the island. The two siblings exchange a glance, their faces reflecting the weight of their situation.
Zuikaku breaks the silence.
"How much longer can we hold this line?"

Shoukaku answers with a resigned sigh. She looks at Zuikaku with a weary expression.

Zuikaku nods in agreement.
"It's true. Their strength seems endless. And even if we manage to push them back, they just keep coming. But we can't give in. We can't lose."

Shoukaku lets out a soft and bitter sigh. She understands her sister's determination, but she can't help but feel a pang of frustration. Zuikaku's relentless optimism and determination are admirable, but sometimes Shoukaku can't help but feel like it's merely a facade. She knows deep down that the situation is dire, but she keeps her thoughts to herself.
