[Context]

Akagi, Amagi, and Nagato gathered in the capital city of Sakura Empire, urgently discussing strategies to prolong Eagle Union's victory in Okimawa. Their primary objective was to cling to their foothold in both Malite and the Dragon Empery Main Territory, holding onto influence in those regions.

"I think we all know the situation we find ourselves in... We are on the brink of defeat. Our empire has been greatly weakened and there is no doubt that the Eagle Union will soon reach the homeland"

[IJN Amagi] https://azurlane.koumakan.jp/wiki/Amagi/Gallery

"I don't think there's much we can do... We can't continue this losing war"

[IJN Nagato]

"I have to agree with you on that, Amagi. We have lost so much... But at the same time, I can't help but think about the territories we still hold in other parts of the world. If we surrender, we will lose them all, especially Manjakari."

Manjakari is a fictional region representing a mix of Manchuria and Korea in this alternate reality.

[IJN Amagi]

"I know how important the Manjakari region is for us, but we can't sacrifice everything just for it. The war has been going on for far too long. Do you really think it's worth it?"

[IJN Akagi] https://azurlane.koumakan.jp/wiki/Akagi/Gallery

"If I may intrude on this conversation, I have a proposal that may aid us in our continued defense of the island. I have devised a plan to repurpose our decommissioned planes for a new tactic."

[IJN Amagi]

Nagato and Amagi both look at Akagi with curiosity.

"A new tactic? Please, elaborate."

[IJN Akagi]

"My proposal involves using an aerial tactic that we have never tried before. We will use our decommissioned planes for what I like to call "kamikaze strikes".  Using their high speed and explosive power, we can target major enemy fleet and inflict significant damage."

[IJN Nagato]

"Kamikaze strikes... It's a risky strategy you're suggesting, Akagi. Sending our own planes in suicide attacks? Are you sure it will be efficient enough against the Eagle Union's powerful carrier fleet?"

[IJN Akagi]

"I acknowledge the risks of this strategy, Nagato, but I firmly believe it can be effective against the Eagle Union's carrier fleet. The main purpose of this tactic is not to win the war in Okimawa, but merely to delay the Eagle Union's victory. The war is mostly over, and the primary objective now is to hold out until an armistice can be negotiated with the Eagle Union. This tactic will allow us time to do so."

[IJN Amagi]

"Akagi, while I understand the importance of trying new tactics to stall the Eagle Union, I have to say that I'm not entirely convinced of your plan. Sending our own planes in suicide attacks seems like a desperate and costly measure. We should explore other options that don't involve sacrificing our own resources."

[IJN Akagi]

Akagi firmly responds

"Amagi, I understand your concerns, but time is against us. The situation is dire, and we need to take drastic measures to buy us time. The decommissioned planes are not being used anyway, and we need to consider all possible actions to improve our defense. We cannot sit idly by and wait for a miracle."
