[The scene opens with the camera focused on Chris, who's standing on the dock at the edge of the island]

Chris: Last time on Total Drama: Tropical island, our 21 new contestants arrived at this new island in somewhere, Hawaii, and after assigning them to their teams, I sent them to their cabins to settle in and bond with their new teammates, who's going to be the first one off this brand new island? What will the first challenge be? And who took my hair gel?! Most of these questions will be answered this time on total, drama, and Tropical island! No, seriously, who took me hair gel?

[The Theme starts with the Camera decending on the island as it passes by Chris sat on a lounge chair with a smoothie in one hand, the camera zooms through the woods until we get to a clearing where we see Jazz cuddling with a pile of wild animals until a firework set off by Xander scares the animals causing them to trample Jazz as they run away, after they've all ran away Jazz glares at Xander while he laughs, then the camera cuts to Zara training in the woods with Megan stood behind her cheering her on, then the animals run through almost trampling Megan but Zara grabs her out off the way just in time, making them both blush slightly. Then we cut to the beach with Kilo running into the ocean with a surf board tucked under his arm with Luna sat not far away playing a calming tune on her guitar, which then distracts Kilo causing him to face plant into the beach after tripping over his foot, Luna them looks at Kilo with a look of guilt, We then see Eli sat on the steps of the cabins talking to Sasha who isnt listening as Sydney walks past and gives them both a smile which Sasha reciprocates, then we cut to the mess hall with Chef looking a bit concerned as Larry keeps trying to get him to give him more of his cooking, Ian is in the background asleep on one off the tables. After, we cut to Diego talking to Rose, Edith and Nadia with Edith and Nadia looking disintested while Rose stares at Diego with loving eyes, then Ray runs past being chased by the animals from before, knocking Diego down as Edith and Nadia laugh at him, Next we see Carmen inside one of the cabins yelling at Oscar which causes him to roll his eyes as Finn eventually yells at Carmen to shut up, we then see Layla sat by herself under a tree, then Yuri walks past giving Layla a small smile making Layla smile back, then the camera cuts to the campfire with Zara and Megan cuddling before Diego tries to interupt but gets shoved to the ground by Edith, the camera Zooms out as everyone apart from Layla and Diego whistle the Total drama Theme as the camera stops on a Sign that says "Total Drama Tropical island"]

[We then cut to the Crazy Coconuts cabin with Megan, Zara, and Yuri sat on their beds, talking]

Megan: So, why'd you two decide to join the show?

Zara: I mainly wanted to show my survival skills while beating the competition, of course.

Yuri: I just needed to get away from my classmates for a bit, especially one of them. She can be a bit of a handful from time to time.

Megan: Yeah, I can see why you'd wanna get away from her.

Zara: What do you guys think of our teammates, though?

Megan: Well, first of all, Rose is quite clearly head over heels for Diego.

Zara: Yep, it's not hard to miss the looks she gives him, even though they've only known each other for like, 15 - 20 minutes.
