For your family, or for battle?

It was a couple weeks after Tommy had been born. Wilbur was standing next to his bassinet and gazing down at his baby brother, his older brother Alex walking in to see what the brunette was doing. "Will, why do you keep staring at him? It's not like he's going anywhere." Alex scoffed, letting out a soft chuckle at his brother's behavior.
"He's so cute! I can't keep my eyes off him.." Wilbur said, reaching down to brush a strand of Tommy's blonde hair away from his little face as he slept.
Alex shook his head playfully and walked out of the room, leaving the boy alone once again. That was.. until the town alarm went off.
Terrorists were invading the area, and everyone was called to evacuate their homes, leaving everything behind.
Wilbur and Techno grabbed their baby brother and ran out of the house, and into the woods, where their parents were already waiting for them behind some large boulders. Tommy began to cry as his pale cheeks flushed a soft pink, and salty tears fell down his face. Phil, their father, shushed him as much as he could before he realized Kristen, his wife, was missing.. She wasn't here.
Wilbur panicked and ran back to the village, trying to desperately find his mother after the terrorists left the area. He searched his old home and other's homes as well, but he couldn't find her. "Mum!!" He cried out, his vision getting blurry with tears.
After what felt like forever, he saw his mother's dark purple hair from behind a mulberry bush, in relief- he went to see her, but she was dead.. An arrow was shot through her chest, a small trail of blood flowing from her mouth as her eyes dulled of its color. Wilbur was in shock. His mum sacrificed herself, to save her loved ones.
He fell to his knees and let out a shuddered breath, his hands grabbing at the dirt beneath him as he sobbed into the Earth. Alex found where Wilbur was and hugged him from behind, acting as a shield of comfort for his beloved brother.
