I'm worried this is too close to the song, Jack, don't sue me please 

Also, I know nothing about writing romance (rip) so it might be kinda bad and/or cheesy

Sebastian is 13 years old. He's grown to be a lonely kid. Out of desperation, he's started spreading lies about his life, to get him attention.

During lunch, he's sitting with another kid who is lonely and doesn't know how to talk to others due to a lack of social interaction. The kid asks, "Do you have any pets?" hoping to start a conversation, to which Sebastian replies, "Oh yes, I've got a dog! My dog can dance as well! Just...not in public or with my friends, unfortunately."

The girl is caught off guard by his enthusiasm nods, and then thinks of something else. "So um...tell me something about you..." She says, still confused about talking to another person, so her voice is a bit shy. Sebastian pretends to think, before speaking. "Well, I've got a girl, and she's 28. Everyone in eighth grade thinks I'm pretty cool because of that." He replies smugly

After that, the girl avoided him entirely due to a sense of unease.

Over time, Sebastian kept lying about his 'perfect life'. For example, he once lied about knowing a boy in which he smoked within the van of his rockstar dad's van. People started believing him. Today, he's got a girlfriend, who fell in love with him after hearing that he 'went to France and danced in the rain' over summer break. During their first date, the girl he dates is suspicious of Sebastian, as he doesn't want her to meet his father due to his father often being truthful. If Sebastian took her to see his father, he'd risk his father bringing light to his lies.

Over the next little while, he started to genuinely fall for this girl, and with the love he felt came some guilt. He knows their relationship is built off his lies...he has no idea how to make it right...he decides to write a text to her, even though she knows she'll doubt it due to having been suspicious of what he's said...but he's unsure of what to say...

Alright, I'm gonna leave it at a cliffhanger (sort of) cuz I need a story out. I'll continue this in the future lol
