Main only remembered running towards the center of the rapidly growing chaos, yelling and screaming assaulting her sensitive feathery ears as she shoved someone she distinctly remembered being called 'Lunar' — a child's figure, from what she remembered being made for the Creature Pirate universe — to see a sight that made her want to either ugly cry or vomit in a corner; maybe both.
The trigger sat tall and imposing, ominous, behind the two figures at the center of the circle of figures — one hoisted uo go hover in the air by thin strings, blacked out face and permanent white smile stained with ugly tears and sobs as Controlled rocked a gored, horribly injured Universal Librarian in her arms, long sleeves cradling what remained of Librarian's head against the fur lining of the top of her outfit, not caring about the dark maroon absolutely drenching her form.
"No, no, no... nononono... You— you said we could go and read after this, you said we could visit the very top— Don't— Don't do this, please, please, don't go, don't..—"
*Main froze like that for what could have been seconds or hours, just watching Controlled tremor horribly, her wings puffed up like a panicked bird in a net white she held her closest friend — the only one who didn't just call her by her au name, who actually cared enough to ask and memorize her name, who loved her so much she brought her along from where she resided among the endless floors and shelves with no where else to go — who had a huge gaping hone in the back of her head, straight through the front at an angle.
Main finally moved.
She rushed forward, skidding down to her knees and not caring for her dress as she reached out, grabbing Controlled by the shoulders gently and pushing the wailing figure down into her hold, wrapping her wings around both corpse and living. She could feel the stares of the others and the few who had been brought along, hear the murmurs of the crowd from softer as most of the chaos started to recede — most likely Guardian sending out one of her two auras, Peace. She couldn't care.
The person she had to cradle and whisper calming words and empty promises that everything would be alright was what mad her attention.
She would find whoever the hell set that damn thing down in the first place, and Deities and creators above so help her she would feed them to Woil after she caught them.
