CH1--First Day

2nd person POV

     Wow... First day of high-school... You couldn't wait to be bullied and picked on. Whatever, at least you knew nobody had the guts to land a punch.

     You said good-bye to your mother, giving her a bearhug, squeezing the life out of her. Well, not really, but sometimes you just don't know when to stop.

    Heading towards the school, you gazed at the scenery. You had just moved in a week prior, spending that time unpacking. Then...oops... you bumped into someone...

"Watch it, punk!" They--no, it was a she-? You couldn't really tell... They didn't really look, nor sound, feminine... No, they...she was definitely female... right? Well, you didn't want to asume... so...best to just use they/them pronouns.

"S-sorry! I-I'm so sorry..!" You quickly apologized, quickly standing back up, looking down to avoid eye contact. You fiddled with your fingers anxiously.

"I'll let it slide, for now." They growled, you glanced up. They had long-ish brown hair, and... Purple scales? Huh... they were pretty, to say the least... They barked words at you again, snapping you out of thought, "Do anything like that again and you're as good as fresh meat."

"G-got it.. A-again, I-I'm sorry..!" You apologized again, swiftly making your way past them.

     As you headed into class, everyone snapped their attention towards you.

"O-oh! You must be the new student. Welcome, I-I'm ms. Alphys. Would you like to introduce yourself?" The teacher said. You nodded shyly.

"H-hi.. everyone! I-I'm Y/N! U-uhm..." You fiddled nervously with your fingers, then subtly flapped your hands. "I--" You were suddenly cut off as the familiar monster you'd bumped into barged in. Jeez... they're in my class..? You thought.

"Am I late?" They asked gruffly.

"No! Not at all, Susie-!" Ms. Alphys said...nervously? "Y/N was just introducing herself. Y/N, please continue.."

"R-right..! Right... A-as I was gonna say... I-I'm a-autistic..." You stuttered timidly, "a-and.. uhm.. w-well, I like to draw..." You mumbled, trying to avoid what she really wanted to say. You inhaled sharply, "A-and uhm... I-I'm a- a hybrid... m-my mom is human.. a-and my dads a monster..." You muttered nervously.

     The class didn't seem to have a reaction, other than Susie trying to hold back some snickers.

"Is that why you look so weird?" Susie chuckled, you looked down anxiously. You didn't know what to say other than "sorry", nobody spoke up though.

     You gulped anxiously, until Ms. Alphys spoke up, "Y/N, you can go sit by Berdly," she pointed to the blue jay looking guy, there was an empty space between him and a cat looking student?

     You swiftly went to your seat and sat down, fiddling with the hems of your shirt.

Phew, this is my first time writing a book. I've had a few drafts in a notebook that I scrapped, and I wrote a few short stories. But this is my first time writing a serious book/fanfic.

I'll try uploading a few chapters a day. If I don't post in a while I'm either grounded or workin' on a LOT of chapters/one big chapter.
