*Nick Fury*
I knew the request was strange when I got it in the mail. It was a small envelope with a wax seal. The seal had an singular trident on it. I had peeled of the seal to find a handwritten letter.
Dear Nick Fury,
This is the file of someone who could be an incredible asset to the Avengers. I understand if you don't trust this letter due to the anonymous sender but the following young man is a incredible person. Please take this request into consideration.
- Nobody you would know
I've gotten letters like this, everyday citizens requesting to quote and quote "try out" for the Avengers. But all of those letters had been sent by the person trying out and unless this Nobody you would know is the young man they speak of, this would be a first.
I had found two papers inside the envelope. One of the papers was the letter and the other was a file on the young man.
I opened up the file and looked over the information.
Name : Perseus Jackson
Age : 17
Gender : male
Address : EAST 104th & FIRST STREET, NEW YORK CITY
Guardians : Sally Jackson (Deceased mother) ,Father unknown, Paul Blofis (Deceased step father)
Criminal Record : age 12 : Blew up school bus, kicked out of over 6 schools, age 14 blown up school,age 15, blown up school.
Last sighting : Manhattan, New York
Addition information : Spotted in Athens, Greece 2 months ago
Now I am even more confused. Not only did this kid have a criminal record, he also was only 17 years old. I don't know why anyone would send me a file on a young boy with a criminal record and tell me to consider having him join the Avengers.
I noticed a message on the bottom of the file. It said :
Dear Nick,
I understand your doubt. But you would much rather have him as an ally than an enemy. He is the most powerful person I know. There are other people who oppose you who are also trying to recruit Perseus. Please make your decision quickly.
- Nobody you would know
I pondered over this for a while. If this Perseus is so powerful that our many enemies would try to recruit him, we might as well send a team to scout him and attempt to approach him.
I picked up the phone and called for an Avengers meeting.
And so, begin the mission of finding Perseus Jackson.
