Stark Is Late To A Meeting At His House

I was kind of confused when Fury called an emergency meeting at Stark Tower. I mean usually when there is an impending threat, I see it on TV or actually somewhat know what's going on. 

I had grabbed my shield just in case this was something that involved fighting. Most things do.

 I made my way into the elevator and saw Natasha in there with Bruce. They were arguing  but stopped when I entered the elevator. 

"Hey guys." I said awkwardly, because I had interrupted their conversation with my arrival. "Hey."Bruce said. Natasha simply nodded. 

"Any idea whats going on?"Bruce asked. I shook my head "No idea."    

The elevator doors opened and there stood Fury,Clint,and Thor. Wanda was sitting in a spinney chair in the corner. Not sure why she's here. 

"Where's Tony?" I asked, noticing his absence.

"Late." Fury replied. 

He looked anxious, which is a first. Fury normally has his emotions under control even in extremely stressful situations. 

*Tony*

Sh!t! I thought. 

Fury had called an emergency meeting in my tower but I was late. How is someone late to a meeting in their own house when they are in the house? 

I had been up until 2:30 am working on modifications for the suit. Then I slept in till 11:00 am. The meeting started at 10:45 am. It's currently 11:30 am. I am very late. 

I stepped into the elevator and straightened my tie. I had rushed getting dressed so my tie had been sloppily put on. 

I pressed a button on the side of the elevator and a small compartment slid out. It had a mirror and a comb. I picked up the comb and fixed my hair and even combed my goatee (Which is a very rare occurrence). 

I looked at my reflection in the mirror. 

"Looking fresh Stark!" I said to myself in the mirror.

Then I pressed the button a second time and the mirror and comb went away. 

The doors then opened and I saw just how late I was. 

Everyone was there. Steve,Fury,Natasha,Thor,Bruce,Clint,and even Wanda. Wanda, who is late for everything arrived before me. 

"Why Hello!" I said looking at my fellow avengers.

*Clint* 

I looked at Tony skeptically and raised an eyebrow. 

"You're late." Fury said, looking annoyed.

"I'm not late, everyone else is simply early." Tony said with a smirk. He then walked over to the only remaining spinney chair and sat down. "What did I miss?" He said, looking at Fury. 

I thought Fury's eyes where about to pop out of his head. "You missed nothing because we couldn't start without you." He said, clenching his fists.

"Ahh yes, waiting for the leader." Tony said glancing over at Steve, who had just coughed loudly. 

"Guys!" Natasha said. Everyone, including Tony, looked at her.

"We're off topic." She said. She then looked over at Fury. 

"Can you tell us why you gathered us?"Natasha said, voicing the question on everybody's minds.   

Fury coughed. 

"This morning, at 8:30, I received a letter and a file. 

"Who was the file from?" I asked. 

Fury gave me a hard look. "I was getting to that. The sender was anonymous. They went by the name of Nobody you would know."

"Weird." Wanda said. Almost everybody jumped. Half the people in the room had forgotten she was there.

"Anyway, here is a copy of the file they sent out." Fury said,handing out 7 copies. 

As everybody read the file, questions started spilling out of everyone.

"He's only 17!"

"He blew up a school bus?"

"Over 6 schools?!"

"HOLY POP TARTS!!!" 

Everyone looked at Thor who had just yelled out holy pop tarts. Pop tarts are a sacred thing to Thor so if he says holy pop tarts then you know things are getting serious.

"I am sorry. I cannot help you in this matter." Thor said. Then thunder struck and he was gone. 

Weird. 

"Now here is the thing." Fury said. "I need you to find this Perseus Jackson and-"

He was interrupted by Tony. "Arrest him and interrogate. We know the drill." 

"No." Fury said, staring at Tony.

Tony looked confused.

Fury then said,"I want you to recruit him."
