Chapter 3: Noah; you sat and stared at my lips – and I could already feel your kiss
An intense read tint splotched Noah's face. He rolled over on his bed, his clothes wrinkled and his lips swollen – perhaps from the intense biting. What had just happened?
"No, it's ok – go to your date," said Noah. University was finished for the day, and an unnatural dusk fell over them rather quickly. Whilst waiting for Alex, Noah had taken a seat at a nearby bench waiting for the familiar Tesla to drive around the corner. Instead of a sleek car, a messy pink boy wearing a cream sweater and jeans hurled at him, taking the seat next to Noah. Apparently, Alex couldn't pick up Noah today because he had a date with Louis.
"I'll just call an Uber."
"Mmm....are you sure Noey?" whined Alex, "I'll move it to Saturday. I mean – Louis and I did have kind of a bed date last night.."
He trailed off, the tips of his ears gradually turned a deep pink.
Noah chuckled, "I heard."
The deep pink reached the pink haired's cheeks, matching with his hair.
"Well," he spluttered, "What about you and Louis?"
Now it was Noah's turn to redden.
"Nothing happened," said he defensively.
Alex's eyebrows quirked joyously, knowing he had struck gold, a faint smirk tugged at the boy's lips.
"Oh really?"
Alex leaned over to Noah, his fluffy cream sweater grazing the other's bare arms.
"Then why did I find a spicy ramen cup in the trash today morning," he asked, his eyelashes fluttering innocently.
"As far as I know, Noey, you have a terrible spice tolerance."
By now, Noah was a furious red.
"Shut-shut it," he said, hastily clapping a hand over his nosy friend's talkative mouth.
"What the-"
He pulled his hand, repulsed.
"Did you just lick me?"
Alex pouted, "Maybe, you didn't tell me anything that happened last night!"
"Fine, I'll tell you, AFTER your date. Now go, I can see Louis's car."
"Fine, promise to dish everything on Lucas, ok?"
"Lucas what?"
The boys froze, for, as behind Noah, appeared Lucas himself. Dressed in a crinkled white button-up and black slacks, his raven hair all tousled, his lips swollen and bruised, and his hands in his pockets. The sight of him made Noah's heart sink – for many reasons. Had he heard what they had been not-so-subtly conversing about? Was he with someone else before coming?
Alex seemed to think the same, for, he took a quick worried glance at Noah before saying, "It was nothing, we were thinking about asking you what I should buy for Louis for our anniversary."
Lucas raised an amused eyebrow, disregarding the crestfallen look on Noah's face, which he quickly covered up by nodding.
"Oh? But aren't you Louis's boyfriend? Shouldn't you know him better than anyone?"
